Fairly simple request. I was behind enemy lines on another server and discovered some advanced space-age technology that could benefit the collective.

It's a channel that nobody can read except the DMs I presume and operates in a manner similar to in-game. I think this'll also cut down on people doing @dungeon masters when they have a place to properly put a request that won't be overshadowed by my whinging in the casual chat. Only difference between this and asking in-game is that this'll have a history log attached to it and you can scroll up to see past requests.
Maybe you could also suppress @mentions in this particular channel, too.

We specifically decided against doing this; it's the reason you can't ask DMs to come online on Discord. We have a thread on the forums for exactly this purpose and players should direct their requests there, just as we don't want bug reports via the Discord either. Discord exists to supplement the forums, not replace them. DMs are easily accessible if you just have a question.
