The issue is i'm not succeeding in figuring out exactly what is the culprit. I don't know how to really identify which process is causing the disk usage spikes, because once it happens i'm unable to access the task manager.
So i just ran sfc/scannow in an administrator level cmd prompt and i recieved this message:
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not supported in offline servicing scenarios.
So I have the log. It's massive and might as well be in swahili. I tried to upload it but the forum gives me a database error and only lets me post about 10% of the log. Guess it's too big for the forum.
