[A boisterous and rowdy crowd gathered at the door of the Drowned Rat in Vallaki several days ago. Onlookers claim that the disheveled and motley crowd of Barovians grew agitated, venturing inside before a loud ruckus commenced from within, clattering and splintering of wood and glass. The grumbling, incited mob eventually dispersed from within the seedy tavern with several punctuating their disdain by urinating and spitting on the side of the building.
The next day the proprietor, the usually scornful and malcontent Henrica, was observed entering the structure. She was noted to be in peculiar high-spirits and draped in unbefitting dapper dress. Business resumed and several piles of trash, refuse, and broken furniture were observed being discarded.]
