Title: Neverwinter Nights Menu and Windows 8
Post by: OnceOpenNowClosed on August 16, 2013, 03:03:21 PM
Hey, I had recently found out that I have a problem! I was trying to figure out how to launch a DM client so my friends and I could practice some DMing and I realized when I click my shortcut, I don't get a menu to select from the toolset or DM client, I only get to start it as if I had pressed play. (Like when I click it, the little Atari advertisement stuff comes up immediately). Is there any way I could fix this to access the menu?

Erm are you using the Ravenloft game launcher?

Are you running it from a "NWNMain" Short cut?

Does opening your NWN files in your C drive and finding the launcher called just "NWN" and launching the game with that give you a option menu, Play game, DM client, Toolset, and Update and so on?

I'm using the NWN main shortcut, not the launcher, and my file is just the Neverwinter Nights file on my desktop. I don't get that little menu with the Update and such.

you need to locate that Short cut / Launcher named "NWN" only, then you will get the menu and option to start DM client, it is among the files for NWN, down with its other launchers.
