Title: Missing Hak Files - Maybe I'm Dumb!?

Hi,

Been trying to get into the server but I'm having trouble. I'm missing the following:


ctp_goth_estate.hak
ctp_goth_int.hak
ctp_exp_elf_city.hak
ctp_elf_interior.hak
ctp_loadscreens.hak
ctp_common.hak
rl_tiletextures.hak
rl_placeables.hak

I double checked, and downloaded them all a second time to no avail.

I'm pretty sure it's my fault, I'm just having trouble in pin-pointing my error.

Any help would be appreciated.

You put everything you downloaded in the right directories? Maybe those hak files are somewhere they shouldn't be.

Double checked and everything is fine.

Second time I downloaded the files I verified if the ones I'm missing were there and they are now. I'm either downloading an outdated file or I'm just missing one altogether.

He isn't the only one. I am trying to get on with a friend, and we both have the same issue. The Hak page is outdated, and missing HAks.  Same exact problem as this guy.

Hopefully someone will reply to this soon. This is killing me. Oddly, I had no problems when I joined this server way back. I am not sure it even had haks then.

  Try using the updater here, made by one of the community members. It iwll check all files and download whaever else is needed.

No problem. I used to run my own persistent NWN server, I know how much time and work goes into it and mistakes do happen..... More often than we'd want.  ;)

I'll take a look at it tonight after the kids are in bed.
