Title: @nudge command
Post by: APorg on December 28, 2012, 10:51:59 AM
I'd like to suggest a @nudge command that makes nearby neutral or friendly NPCs wander a little from their current location.

To try to prevent those times when some NPC man/dog/oxen seems to be stuck on a transition/in a doorway/whatever and basically blocking things.

No idea how difficult this would be to do really; not really thought of how it could be potentially abused but likely it could be coded in a manner to prevent exploiting.

I think such a command would indeed be helpful.

Great idea actually, it'd be like triggering the "wander" emote / function?
Need to be careful to ensure it only works on friendly NPCs though, not hostile. Or it has the potential to be spammed and abused to keep monsters from attacked or interrupting casts, etc.

This would also help people who get stuck in the temple in Har'Akir when the six NPCs clog the door and force you into the corner.
