Title: Timing out from server.
Post by: DM Samedi on December 14, 2012, 09:22:23 PM: A friend of mine has been trying to connect to the server for the past billion years and refuses to post on the forums whenever I tell him to. But within ten minutes of logging on he times out from the server and drops out.
How does he fix?

Nevermind found the way to do direct connection but still cannot log in getting timeout message.

make sure your IP script is correct, no typos or old IPs

on my NWN short cut. But i still cannot log into the game.

Is there another IP Address that iam not aware ?

Had that problem tonight as well, not sure what's causing it as everything worked fine for several hours before. This happened both via direct connect and connecting via Gamespy (or what remains of it).

Edit: It seems to be related to the number of people on the server in my case (somewhere between 40 and 45 people online causes the disconnect for me as far as I can tell when logging in via Gamespy).

That happened to me when I had a secondhand copy.

The guy got a new one and was able to do things for as long as he wanted.
