Tapping the print screen in game, then control + v when a paintbrush is open I only receive a large black screen copied. Tried changing resolution also, to no avail.
What might cause this problem?

Did you check your Screenshots folder?

Screenshots are saved in .tga format and are stored in a folder labeled "screenshots" in the NWN directory. Make sure the program you're using can view .tga files and direct it to the NWN/screenshots folder.

I can't seem to open TGA files with the standard programs I got on my computer, tried a program to open TGAs once but it was really slow.
My solution was: Right Click Image Converter, it instantly makes a copy of chosen TGA file(s) into almost any picture format you want by right clicking (jpg, bmp, png, you name it)

Get Open Office. It allows you to view .tga files.

Don't get open office.. it's a large software package, isn't it? Just get Irfan View. Light, useful, and free.

I had that issue for a while too, where my screenshots were all coming out as black screens..
My solution? Change the button to capture screens for nwn. I changed it from "Print Screen" to "Spacebar." My issues were instantly fixed and the screens that I captured that were auto saved to my NWN Screenshots folder have worked henceforth.

I have had the issue where I hit the prtscrn and nothing happens. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Stupid key! :banghead:

If your keyboard has an 'F lock'.. enabling it might solve your problem.

Get a camera and take a photo of your screen. :P

It seems that taking screenshots in windowed mode solves sometimes the problem.

Yeah, IrfanView is probably the best thing to get if you want to view your screenshots and convert them to .jpegs.
