[Local slum denizen Dimitry Pochev was seen half-dragging, half-guiding a brutish, terrifying looking dog through the streets. The size of the dog changes with each telling, some saying it was the size of a horse, others claiming it was built more like an ox. They say the beast appeared more wolf than dog, scarred and snarling at passersby, with blood caked and matted into its shaggy mane, especially around its snout. Dimitry was seen taking the dog into the Gaping Wound bar. Why the Pochev's want such a fierce looking beast is the source of much speculation.]

The night brings with it yelling and fighting from the shady tavern in the Slums of the Gray City, and just as the sun grudgingly rises to light up another miserably rainy day the exotic man who only recently started working there steps out with a large corpse over a shoulder.
His bartender's apron is torn and the tavern's namesake glaringly obvious in his bloody visage.
He throws the corpse into the nearest sewer opening with a calm air and heads inside after pausing to wash the blood off his face in a muddy puddle.

After long shut doors, the Gaping Wound seeks new employees to resume regular operation!
Novices as well as experienced bar hands and guards welcome! Instruction to be provided with hiring.
Steady wages offered on a weekly basis with tips.
Prospective bar workers must be good with their numbers and keep accurate records.
Prospective guards must show good physical strength and have keen awareness.
Night shifts are mandatory.

The Gaping Wound is now officially open from dusk to morning on most nights!
Stop in for drink specials, dicing, and a conversation!
If you aren't sure we're open, look out for the lanterns outside!

The alleys around the Gaping Wound earlier in the evening were disrupted by the raucous screaming of the new Tepestani manager, as she seemed to chase around an animal through the streets. Her voice carried easily and something of "shapechanger" and "witch" might have easily been heard by any passers by. After returning to shut the doors to the Gaping Wound, and a few people in and out of the establishment, a pair of guards arrived, dragging the lifeless and beaten body of supposed witch out into the dark alleys of the slums, likely not to be seen again...
It would seem the staff of the Gaping Wound has no problem with making their violent stance known in regards to disruptive and dangerous patrons.

A well dressed gnome is seen coming and going from the Gaping Wound. Various people entering with her and then leaving after some time. The sound of a violin can be heard coming from inside the building on occasion.

The second Gaping Wound's turnout was minimal with only about three - six people wandering in despite constant badgering and shilling from the Elf. Most notably of those visitors is an omnious, black-clad masked traveler with a black prayer beads and a knucklebone necklace around his neck, a woman with a mask that has a long snout to it, an Elf with a scantily dressed top, and a white-clad Gnome with blond hair and pale skin. Roughly at the first bell, a faint scream could be heard followed with several gunshots emanating from the establishment.
Out of everyone to leave, the woman with the strange beaked helmet and the Gnome never left the premise. An Elf with a forlorn look on her face could be seen at the noticeboard leaving behind only this as a testament to what happened.

Those passing the Gaping Wound may notice something brown and foul smeared on the sign and puddles of especially pungent urine on the cobbles nearby.

The night evolved into the Gaping Wound with bustling ativity and a loud crowd, witness was a alot of drinking, feasting and laughing, the crowd dispersed in the early hours of morning, leaving a trail of alcohol between the alleys of Vallaki

The night of Friday 30th was celebrated with local dishes and culinary recipes from all over the Core, talks are of a pleasant and crowdy evening in The Gaping Wound, except for a sudden appearance of an armored man baring the crest of the Vallaki Army who oddly enough, had crawled out from the basement but caused no disruption and meshed with the patrons shortly after.
