Not sure if this belongs here, so move if it must be moved!
As a lot of you have noticed, the EABioware site is down. If you stored your CD keys on their website, you're probably never going to get them from there again. If you're like me, you've relied on this service for a good many years after new computers and such, and probably don't have the original boxes anymore. But your keys aren't lost!
In your Neverwinter Nights folder (mine, for instance, is: C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN) is a .ini file called "nwncdkey." This file will list your three CD keys. It is safe to open this (and any other ini files) in notepad. Copy down your CD keys and store them somewhere safe!
That is all.

"NOTICE: NWN Authentication Server Down
Aaryn Flynn (Bioware employee)
Created about 14 days ago
Due to the recent hacking of our legacy NWN servers we have disabled the NWN master server which manages game authentication. We are currently retooling our NWN authentication process and will have a new server up as soon as possible.
We appreciate your patience while we make these improvements to our systems.
Aaryn Flynn"

The authentication server and the website which stores your CD key (if you registered them on the site) are completely different, aren't they?

No. They were on the same hardware.

Fair enough. I'd still suggest writing them down regardless.

Got mine through GOG, and as long as I don't delete my backup, I made a backup of the nwncdkey.ini

I believe your CD keys are found in your main NWN file in a file called: nwncdkey.

Mine is only about half that age I think. I've been on PotM longer than I've owned my current copy. I previously had a Mac-only version but I threw it away a year or so before I bought the Diamond edition for Windows, which I managed to install in Mac OS anyway using Internet know how.

I bought mine when i was younger and only played the game part wasn't till about four years ago i re-installed it to try the online servers, and thus began my addiction to RP XD
