(( so what are they "supposed" to do then?))

((They used to describe the items, in the past.))

//Please keep posts in the IC section IC. A little civility and suspension of disbelief goes a long way. The Red Vardo Traders do in fact offer services, such as the aquisition and identification of rare artifacts in canon Ravenloft, for a fee.

((not to go OOC on an IC forum, but I would assume given the nature of the faction, previous records, price lists, item descriptions and the fact we've members from Ravenloft, Faerun and several other worlds within our faction it is not entirely unreasonable that "famous" above average items with established nicknames are named as such on our flyers. Item appraisal and identification is a real skill, quite canon to the nature of the faction and we are well equipped to make use of such skills in game. I'd suggest though that if people want to continue this discussion further they move it to the appropriate OOC forum.))
