Title: The best music player?
Post by: Telkar on June 30, 2010, 04:30:08 PM
What's the best music player folks? I have winamp at the moment, and it works well for me except for one big thing: I can't create proper columns in a playlist, with album and artist etc. All it gives me is the name of track, and how long it is.

All but I-Tunes.

Spotify

Heh, seems Spotify isn't available in my country yet.

All but I-Tunes.

True, though I feel myself leaning towards I-Tunes just for the sake of being able to make a proper playlist.

Take a moment and read the manual to your winamp. There are addons for everything if you want something done easier, though the specific thing you're talking about is possible afaik.

Itunes and spotify? Pfft.. Those commercialized programs  lack in soul.

I have to use iTunes, Windows Media Player and WinAmp lag unusably with my music library in them. :x It's commercialized and Mac-ified, but it functions fine and is convenient.
On Linux, though, I use whichever one came with Ubuntu (can't remember the name). :P
