Title: hak noob plz help
Post by: kimowar on April 29, 2010, 04:32:36 PM: I would like to use the optional haks for ravenloft but have no clue where i'm suppose to play them, there was instrctions on the custom gui however it said to extract and it wasnt a zip file so I just copied it to the over ride file, I see no differnce so thinking it didnt work, I have no clue where to place the optional music hak files for ravenloft, can someone plz point me in the right direction

.hak files are placed in the "hak" folder
.tlk files are placed in the "tlk" folder
.mus files are placed in the "music" folder

Post by: DM Nocturne on April 29, 2010, 07:11:32 PM: .rar files are extractables. (Like a container in which files are compressed and stored inside).

Use WinRAR to open the 'container' and extract the files into the appropriate folders in your NWN directory as listed above.
