Along the road to Midway, in the early morning, the loud rumbling of falling rock could be heard. Two women, a man, and a small girl emerged from what appeared to be the collapsed entrance to some cave. The man took off in the direction of Midway while the two women escorted the girl west.

Over the last few weeks a woman with a strange accent and a red riding hood has been seen coming and going, often with a group, but sometimes alone. She delivers the mail quite regularly and bores people by spouting off gibberish about some outlander god of knowledge.
Other odd behavior witnessed:
She repeatedly buys up large quantities of alchemical supplies and then leaves. Sometimes she brings in small groups and teaches them basics of alchemy as she conducts her own experiments. She also leaves regents with a note for other practitioners of the Art.
Not content with disturbing the patrons of the lower house, she can just as often be found in the library up on the hill putting books back in their proper place, some would say in an obsessive compulsive manner. Even stranger, sometimes she can be seen running her hands across the spines stroking them, or whispering to the books as if they were old friends.
She also asks a lot of annoying questions about Fritz Winterboone, the Celestines and the constellations.
-
The odd woman was back again, this time with a group of her eclectic friends. She seems to finally have gotten some of the answers she sought. After speaking with Fritz briefly, she then left.

Rumors of a streaking light across the sky was spotted to land in the forests south of the Observatory.
Those that was there for the event had to battle the entire forest as it came alive with corrupted plants from the Meteorite.
Perhaps the fragments are now being studied -

~A man in dark clothing recently came into the Observatory looking for answers. After complaining about not having enough coin for a decent drink, the regular inhabitants became quite upset upon realizing he had brought a wild mink into the establishment, and he quickly departed.~

The odd woman stops in to use the alchemical lab and when she asks the residents "Wot news?" they vaguely mention some woodsman recently came through "looking for answers."
Clydessa wanders around the estate seeing if she can find out any more information, such as if they left a note or their name or where they can be reached, or at very least answers to -what-?? Failing all that she inspects the trees on the edge of the estate to see if any sign was left to indicate their passing or what they might have wanted.

[A wheat blonde haired Lamordian is seen placing up flyers in the bar and speaking with the local members of the Observatory]

A young elven woman has been seen frequenting Midway. She moves from the alchemical room to the rooms upstairs, murmuring softly to herself minor calculations and theories. Together with a young barovian man, they find shelter from the war that is on the precipice of eruption.

Strange rumors abound near Midway Haven. A ghoulish, dessicated arm was found in the upstairs meeting room, lying in a pool of blood and gore. Some say that it was sawed off.
-
Those who take interest in these things would observe that the Lily Knights have moved from the Vallaki area and have rented a large block of rooms at the Midway Inn. It is apparent that other branches of the Dragon Knights are also migrating there.

{An elderly man in heavy armor recently arrived at the Midway Haven Observatory last night inquiring about books related to the Mists of Death. After scouring the library there, the man spent some time speaking with a few people, rested in a room, and left quite early. Any who might've witnessed the man leave would have seen him heading toward the Tser Pool.}

An elf of Sithican background has been spending an increasing amount of time lately at the observatory, inquiring deeply about the events that took place within Sithicus' borders, and furthermore, about membership into the Celestines themselves. When not studying, he can be noted spending time in the open shrine, and conducting a taxing exercise routine outside.

A caravan of Vistani has been seen moving eastwards from the Raduta Farms, probably moving away from the dangers coming from Invidia. A single vardo has taken a semi-permanent residence by the Upper House of the Observatory, a single sign out of it directs to the establishment for some history classes.
-
As the sun set, the patrons of Midway Haven's tavern side gathered round the fire and round pitchers for warm. Misha the Bard sang and played, and all was right while they hid themselves away from the dangers of the night. The door gently creaked open, to none of their notice - save the hulking steps of a knight in full plate rattling to a far corner to sit down. He was bandaged, beaten, bloodied, and wary of all those around him. Nursing a bottle of something strong, and letting the music wash over him like a hush.
-
A Vistani caravan seems to have moved outside the Observatory, and a single vardo has taken a steady position there. It is not the first time this happens, and many of the usual residents knows what this means.

Shortly after Professor Cornell's most recent lecture, a man's screaming could be heard coming from the large pool inside the Haven.
Later inspection revealed the pool had become tinted red, but no other sign of what had happened remained.

[Early in the evening when the mists lay heavy on the lands, a Vistani wagon train is seen arriving at Midway, Ioana Von Zaceas who has not known to have left her estate near to Tuefeldorf for many years is seen walking into the building, later the general chat in the bar reveals that along with a small escort, she has taken up rooms there. Messengers are seen the next day leaving by boat to Vallaki and by the road in the direction of the Village and castle, no messengers are seen to return]
[The next evening it is rumoured she was seen talking one of the bar maids, the only name mentioned during their conversation heard by the patrons and therefore whispered amongst themselves afterwards was 'Enrst Cornell', a professor who had recently lectured at Midway. It was even rumoured she actually sang for those gathered, but who can believe the merchants who tell these tall tales, nobles singing in a commoners a obvious lie]
-
[The peace of Midway Haven is momentarily disturbed as the sounds of clattering swords and fel magic both can be heard coming from the Upper House and the adjacent observatory. After a fashion, calm returns to Midway Haven as the Celestines resume their day-to-day lives.]
-
[A raven-haired Outlander arrives at the observatory making inquiries about the recent disturbances. She also dashes off several correspondences and from her manner appears to be awaiting their reply.]

A simple note has been left on the message board for the Celestines.
Greetings,
I am an novice astronomer from afar, but my work and my stars are lost to me upon coming to this place.
After speaking with several of your colleagues, I find myself interested in apprenticing to the Celestines of this haven in order to learn the constellations and other celestial bodies in this land's sky. I have been told to speak to one 'Druinor' regarding this.
I lodge in the lower house, so a letter will find me at the bar.

After a period of absence, there are once again signs that at least some of the so called 'Knights of Virtue' have taken up residence once more in Midway Haven.
-
One ordinary morning, the silver haired knight of virtue sets out around the obsrvatory on her routine patrol. Though she is far more despirited than normal, nothing in particular seems amiss.
She sets off into the oddly misty morning.
As the day draws to a close however, she does not return...
// Esmerelda Namarra is shelved till further notice.

The aging scholar Fendal is often seen around the observatory, mostly studying in their library albeit now and then daring the stairs to the observatory roof during some starlit nights.

In recent days, there has been some activity on the road that leads past the Midway Haven. An elf has been working with stacks of planks, wheels, spokes, and axles. Completed parts are hidden away in the copse of trees for now. Those who inquire would be told that he is 'making a home'.
-
Early in the morning, a charming little wagon departed the Midway Haven. Hodge-podge, reminiscent of a patchwork blanket, the vehicle is painted in every shade of a sunset. At its helm, an elven man with a cinnamon complexion, and an auburn-haired fellow of intimidating stature. They steer the oxen westward, passing through Vallaki, and wending their way through wooded trails towards Berez, before disappearing into the hills...
