Title: Askhomepage.exe
Post by: Budly on August 15, 2009, 03:11:33 PM
So my adaware was asking me if I wanted to block or allow this program e arlier when I Dled something.

I asked the people on skype what to do about it. But it disappeared suddenly and the computer started to think. Does it mean it got installed? I Really do not like a malware on the computer! How do I find em?

I am scanning with Ad Aware now.

Well, Ask is a search engine you can
A. clean sweep your comp fastest thing to do and then you can start out fresh just save all you files on a cds or flash drives.
B. Go threw you files one by one to find it it takes a while but if you realy love your stuff its the best way (Ive had to do this about 4 times)
C. just live with it Ask isnt that bad i prefer google.
D. make potm your hompage and thier you go problem solved.

Well that is what I got so hopefully it helps.

There is more to this odd exe thing then simply being a search engine. And I anyway need to clean out the computer. Seems I had a troyan too so I gonna kick in the big sweep! Just put what I need into my external hardrive after 2 scans :)
