Got Rumors from Comnstantin, I emptied 22 mugs and I got 4 differant rumors, I'll get the same rumor 3 tor 4 times in a row then he gives me a new one, and either he'll repeat the new rumnor he just gave me or give me the previous rumor, another 3 or more times.
I have noticed a bug in a crafter shop, Warehouse district - Pavels Woodworks.
If your characters inventory is full and you try to buy a template item
from the npc "Pavel". This will cause the item to vanish from Pavels shop
(template item will vanish from the selection of items that he is selling)
and you cannot buy the same template again after some time (possibly untill server reset).
I am not sure if this happens with other crafting merchants as well, but it could be so.
Option to make a campfire inside caves? It was several times when my char seeked shelter in a cave from the rain (and it makes no sense to make a campfire in the rain), but caves as indoor areas don't give the option for makins campires.

There is this dog in the Vistani camp at the Tser Pool, can he be tethered somewhere, so he stops blocking the transition?
I've noticed this issue in a few areas, but only had a chance to document one. Sometimes the cardinal directions (N, S, E, W) change when going from zone to zone. The one I made note of was Houlgrave's bookstore. Makes it really awkward when giving directions to someone. I'll post others as I see them.

In the Port sewers, in the area near the Crocodile Lair, There's a door called 'Secret Door' that is all, but secret (it's always there, no check needed) and it doesn't actually work. Clicking on it does the Opening Door animation, but that's all. Not even a message or anything comes up. Seems a waste if it's not being used.fixed.

This has never been fixed and my char Logan has a ton of 2 pointers due to this issue. Please fix .

Dunno if right spot. But noticed some slight things off in the Deg's new Kitchen, like some Pots half in and half out of the wall. A metal pot/basket half in and half out the stove. And a Goblet under/in the stove. Some fruit just slightly hovering over the barrel its on. Only noticed the last few things because of my height XD Dunno if anyone ever mentioned it before either. But the lady's rest had a dressed floating above the room in the wall last i as there as well.bah, looks like I have to tweak it further. I didn't catch that stuff when I tested it.

Also, rather curious but is Adrone in permanant coma? Or is there a story coming for his reawakening/Death? :)I have a plan for a plot to reawaken him, but I have one more dungeon to build first (the dungeon will be part of the plot).
Knock Keys:
I've found a cumulative of twenty or more Knock keys over the past few weeks. Every one I've found has been Unidentified and void of any charges. The description says the key carries 50 charges of knock, but is void of said charges every time. I even tried putting my own charges on the key, thinking they were meant to be filled by a knock spell. No effect. So the keys never actually have knock uses and nor can they be charged via a knock spell cast on the key.
I've noticed a few times now that, in the Monastery in the Southern Forest, if you don't take all the loot from each of the drops, they don't seem to respawn until those items are removed. I tested this several times while both ninja'ing and actually cleaving through everything. I found it kinna odd that the same chest had that /same/ scale mail and already identified quest item for three days...
Har'Akir weather acts funny. at hour 10, and 11 of month 12 I was being hit both by cold, and fire damage checks which is a bit..bizarre

I noticed there was a new area dded to the Sullen woods today. After roaming around for a bit, I noticed Spring herbs were showing up in there, like Fey Leaves and Vistan's Tears. Not sure if that was intentional or just an over-sight, since the area is clearly a 'Forest'.

No, plenty of herbs grow in the Forest areas, but there are a different set of herbs that grow in Forests. Fey Leaves and Vistan's tear are not part of that set as they are Plains herbs, growing in bright and sunny areas like the path to the Village or up to the Fishing Lodge.
In the description of the "Hands of the Dawn/Dusk" it said that the creator wore the Dawn hands during the day, and the Dusk after dark. No Problem.. but does that mean that his alignment was Evil Good (Due tot he alignment restrictions on the items.)

When you talk to the Misty Being during character creation, he says, "Welcome to Ravenloft - Prisonners of the Mist." Now, that might be the British spelling, but it differs from every other instance of the word in the game and on this forum.
Google "prisonner". There are an awful lot of instances.
Go invisible and try talking to a horse. They will ask, "Hmm, who's there?" It's funny, but I don't think was intended. :P I haven't tried this lately with other farm animals.

Ehliels Darkvision trait appears to be non-functional lately.
Masterwork Handaxe is the only masterwork weapon that appears to be +1 AB, instead of additional damage. I'm guessing this might be an oversight?I assume you confuse other items with master quality ones. Masterwork weapons all have +1 AB. Question is why only handaxe and longbow variants show up and not others,at least rapiers and bastard swords should have their variants available aswell. Especially rapiers.
The Dusano (I think that's how you spell their names), their disease does nothing to the player it seems. They're found in the Oasis. Additionally, the Temple of Harvest Traps are nowhere to be found.
Edit: None of the traps on the floor, anyways, but the door and chest traps work fine.

Not sure exactly what that means but thought I would report it anyway!

I can understand the notion that Ezrite books are rare in Barovia. But Dementlieu has the printing press and is home to the third sect, who value knowledge greatly. Surely they would have copies to spare? I know the third sect don't actively proselytise, but they do recruit people who come to them, so having spares on hand to give to potential aspirants would not only be sensible but logical.
Also, it's a bit weird that the Refuge shop doesn't sell the First Book to non-factioners, isn't it? As a proseltyizing faith they would surely be handing them out if they could... well, to people who can read. :D Not that I mind, I have my copy of the First Book still...

The wooden planks that are for sale in the Port's woodworking workshop are cannot be processed in crafting, the stations don't recognize those as a craft able resource. Is it intentional?
My Char is completely frozen, can't move, change or drop gear, etc. Little help?
The large humanoid rat (from the shadowy figure in Vallaki) is immune to silver bullets. {received the weapon has no effect notice on hitting it.}
I believe a sling works better for launching bullets :)

I've noticed that since rp xp no longer counts toward the cap, every time I rest, regardless of how much rp I'm in, I always get 'close to nothing has happened', even for sessions that are several hours long and quite active. Is that supposed to be normal now with the change, or might something be wrong?

Still after several resets this seems to be persistent...if not intentional. The transition is not there at all, removing 3 areas from game. :(

Darkvision seems unstable on my aasimarIt's a buggy feat, any light source equipped or radiance entered overrides it in the same way it does to ultravision. I experience the same thing with my Zenythri and Tannaruk.

The helm's description talks specifically about how it looks, and mentions the big "ears" on the helm that funnel sound into it. That's why it has +5 listen.
Recently saw one that was crafted to look like a hood, which makes no sense. Even if you could cover the big bulky ears with a hood, it would still render the helmet useless.
It's not really a bug but a loop hole I suppose so I'm posting here. Was fighting the trolls near the fishing station when I was knocked unconcious. All's good though cause I must have made some good saves cause I soon got that dialogue box which gives you the option to stand up and continue on doing. Trouble was the trolls that got me were hovering right over my prone form. I thus decided to quickly get up and down a invisble potion which I hoped would let me get far enough away that I could rest and buff up and tackle them trolls at full buff, something I wasn't at when they first attacked us. Anyway, what I did was try and use an invisible potion before selecting the option to get up via the dialogue, basically a missclick order. I was seriously panicked, you guys sure make this server panic riddin sometimes, never let it be said that the death system is not harsh enough, it is way harsh enough if I'm shaking like a leaf :P Anyway, I digress.... What this missclick did was exit me from the Dialogue box. I was therefore stuck there lying on the ground unable to do anything, didn't take the invis potion either, but that's not here nor there. Well anyway had to get a DM to help resolve the situation. DM got me standing I then managed to down the potion quickly, then got far away, rebuffed then went back to kill the trolls, then raise my fallen comrade. Huzzah!
Anyway, might want to do something about that dialogue box to make it unable to exit out no matter what. Just putting it out there ;)

I might be bugged but it seems that i cant be raised. Here's the story:
-I was fighting on 2nd floor of catacombs with a friend, got caught between 3 skeletal knight, been critted for 45,so i died. My first bleeding roll was 91.
-So i stopped bleeding but knights were still over me. My friend rolled 98 and got back on his feet.
-Ive waited 7-8 minutes for knights to go away so i could get back on my feet. I alt -tabbed and checked something with google.
-While im alt-tabbed, ive heard a scream coming from my character. I get back on the game quick. My character is dead and is a ghost. There is also a ''get back on your feet'' window. I pressed it but nothing happened.
My friend grouped up with a guy, they killed the knights and grabbed my corpse. My friend brought back my corpse to the priestess and tried to raise me. He has enough gold pieces. Still didnt work. Priestess says : ''not in range''.
There were no DM on so i couldnt get help. Any thought on this?

The dialogue via the npc doesn't make copies either, it only copies the title. It also 'ate' the original work to copy, turning it into a title only paper with no text.

Actually, lag jumping on this particular map is relatively frequent. Of the four times I've lag jumped to an inaccessible location after transitioning, three of those times were on this map, each time ending up behind the city wall on the south end of the map. A few other players I know of have had this occur as well. If no DM is present when this happens, the player is screwed, as far as I'm aware. If a one-way transition was put in to allow players trapped behind the wall a way to escape this unfortunate situation, it would be mult, mult helpful.
I just encountered the Balinok Mountains crash, and I think it might be fixable just by switching off Grass (was on my computer, anyway), I don't think you need to dial general Graphics down to Fast. Wasn't sure where to put this, since all the threads on it are months old.

Noticed the recent update mentioned fixing this. Tried to make copies via the npc and the presses directly and it is still not working via either method. The title is copied but the text is not.

In valaki the tax varies based on your OCR. I've known REALLY low OCR characters be charged only a 2% tax. while my Hin takes about an 11% tax.

Port-a-Lucine, Archivist job: my wizard with Intelligence >20 and Lore >20 base isn't "able to comprehend the topics" she would sort. :PWhat is her wisdom score? I think wisdom is the derived trait, but yea the stat requirements should be made much lower then it currently is.

no containers at all, but it might be fixed on it's own if someone clears the place so it can respawn.
i think i've seen this happening in that place be4 and yest there were creatures inside.

The update was never imported for some reason. I've resent it to import these changes for a next update.
Not sure if this is a bug, or if it's just because the black smithing isn't finished - silver ingots and weapon templates do not work together, cannot make silver daggers, short swords, long swords, ect.

Are the "Mists camps" of the Vistani supposed to automatically save as both your faction base, safe location and last location stored as soon as you log out there?
This has gotten me stuck due to not having enough funds by myself to travel on from there when logging back in later.
If this could be changed, that'd be good to avoid further issues like this.
Are the "Mists camps" of the Vistani supposed to automatically save as both your faction base, safe location and last location stored as soon as you log out there?
This has gotten me stuck due to not having enough funds by myself to travel on from there when logging back in later.
If this could be changed, that'd be good to avoid further issues like this.
Or you can see if anyone else is coming through the region... there's usually a fair amount of traffic at the Mist Camp.
It's a pain in the rear I acknowledge but it's a problem with a very simple solution: always make sure you have at least 200 gp on you before venturing through the Mists.

2: ezrites (but that needs some work towards the faction)
3: the drain? (aint sure)
4: independant clerics
5: other domains (but lets not count that due to the fact most are in barovia)
so for the hack and slash and less rp oriented players we have option 1,4
for the more serious rpers we got option all other options.
so in short for each there own, its just a little difrant for ncw thats all when thats done all other means are available again.

Yeah, I've had this happen to me too. It usually happens if you're in the temple prior to dawn; they then spawn at dawn at the doors and block them.
The chest (unique power activate item) that Murnu sells, is broken. When it is used a placeable chest appears, but no option to open it is given. (From the conversation, only leave, and pick it up.) if it is "used" on a bag or box in ones inventory, the chest item disapears, and no placeable is spawned in, meaning it is simply removed from the PCs inventory.

Well, I'd like to see Raise Dead and Resurrection ineffective for chars of level 17 and above. Only ways to bring them back would be through the dedicated in-game efforts of the chars companions and then DM intervention. The real fear always comes with the risk of losing one's character. Time maybe for those high levels to fear death further.Then why not for all char lvls?

Yup, when I try to use it, it says I am out of ammo, I tried to reload it, thinking maybe I didn't do it right, but it says the barrel is full. I've put gunpowder in it. Not sure what is going on with itDo you have the right bullets? You have to use the special lead bullets the gunmaker sells. Sling bullets do not work.
All the bears on mt ghakis seem to have gone extinct. I've checked for three straight days up around the mountain, and not a single bear other than a pair of grizzles in the cave by dervishiem. Not but a week ago i couldn't even try going up the mountain with out getting mauled by an ancient dire, so is this a new seasonal thing or is there some type of spawning glitch going on? I doubt some one has been going up the mountain two or three times a day just a head of me to kill all the bears for the past three or four days.
Not sure if its just me or not, but none of my crafting items are seeming to work anymore. I can use them on the proper station with no response, the improper station with no response... just seems like the scripts aren't triggering.
Tried relogging to see if that would help, no luck.

I was working with a DM (I forget which one I'm terrible with names think it started with a S), trying to change the name of one of my characters, Benoit Andre (with special characters I'm too lazy to find again) to Benoit Bellucci (no special characters) Instead of changing Benoit Andre to Benoit Bellucci, it changed another character of mine (the one I had just previously played, (Deorwine Aubrey) To Benoit Bellucci.
I'm greatly confused and I want my Deorwine back :S

The summon AI, Animal Empathy AI, and the familiar AI is back to its old tricks. these summons have to be told to do each thing again, and will just stand there and take hits without fighting back. I witnessed a Huecuva skeleton warrior summon right next to my PC, and stand there like a rock as my PC wailed on the Huecuva.

I was just wanting to let someone know that the guards in Krezk that the guards are called "Wachter Guards." I'm not sure if it's a typo and supposed to be Watcher Guards or not, but I just thought I would let someone know.

Maybe so, but I've never seen anything quite like this. Their not attacking at all. They will go into attack stance, and then just....stop. Over and over again. I'll bet Hara'kir is getting its ass farmed off right now.
Not sure if it is just lag, but on my run to port i was repeatedly tossed up into the sky. Even while just running across flat maps on the road. Also when i got to the mountains i was sunken into them and running below the map. Iv never experienced such this bad with lag ever so brought it up.

Djordi, the Mist Camp Vistani if I recall correctly, will sell to you even if you have a weapon equipped. The Leatherworker in Vallaki, Aleksei, also doesn't mind if you're holding a curing knife when you talk to him.
The feat info for "Toggle dislike" says: "Activate this to have your character walk rather than running."
silver bolts can't seem to damage were-wolves
What are the stats on the bolts? I know there was an issue with the old crafted bolts that they'd do +1d4 divine damage (this would damage them), but the damage of the bolt itself wouldn't. I know this has been fixed for newly created bolts, but perhaps yours are old? Or possibly found bolts are still the old version?
Hmm, that doesn't make much sense. Can others confirm this? And could you try to re-download the haks to make sure you have the correct version?
Pretty sure the headless/invisible npcs in some areas is a known loading glitch. I know that some players can see it at certain times, while others can't.
It's not just me that sees it though. The other day another player told me that the NPCs were all gimpy in Tigan's, he said it was the loading bug. But when I went in there yesterday, the NPCs were gimpy in the exact same way. So I'm wondering if the NPCs are always gimpy.
Item weight for a holdable pipe is 3.0, which seems a bit odd and unintentional to me. I assume it was meant to be 0.3 instead.

Undead are immune to mind-affecting spells, so that's working as intended. Failing the will save is irrelevant, the only bug about that is even seeing a will save. But that might just be how the engine works.

Control undead should work on undead, or its a useless spell....
This spell bypasses immunity to mind-affecting spells. (It would be useless otherwise, since undead typically have that immunity.)Its always been a bioware thing. Spell works as intended.
Everytime I cast it, it incurs a will save and regardless of making the save or not says its immune to mind spells meaning it is considered one here I suppose

The water elemental ability will be updated to not work if you're immune to the spell very soonI think I have a pair of broken Bracers of the merman, since I was able to drown.
As I found the hard way, that only works for the spell, not the ability. (i.e. Water Elemental using drown)
Gloves of lassitude : on hit slow
The issue is that flame weapon / dark fire/ elemental dmg type varnishes do not work on these gloves at all. I have tried all kinds now, I can only guess that its some conflict with the on hit unique used by these instead of actually adding a temp dmg bonus.

The Vistani near vallaki turned hostile when fighting animals (mink/deer) within sight of the camp. Specificly, the Vistani began casting defensive spells when an alt attacked a mink. The dog then ran over and attacked, prompting the entire camp to become hostile.
Not. . .sure if this a fluke, or a bug. But are there supposed to be Garda outside Vallaki guarding the gate :3?

75% saltpeter (potassium nitrate), 10% sulfur, and 15% charcoal. you need to know this stuff in case society ever collapses people

I only know how leatherworking works, but maybe you lack a recipe item? Like how leatherworking requires patterns. That or insufficient reagants. Or a missing secret ingredient!

Perhaps but I am not sure what that would be...If your basing it off real gun powder, then I have all the ingredients. If for instance your not, then I don't know and is why I posted such.
The base resources have to be processed before you can use them. Sulphur rocks have to go through a smelter and saltpetre needs to go through distillation.

They was not taking extra cold damage today. I had used cold varnishes of the 1d12 variety and for the entire encounter never rolled above a 12 including criticals. Including just doing 1 point of damage. Well, I've readjusted the loot and added Bash DCs to the chests.
Wachter Lands, at the Wachter Outpost and some of the areas to the west of that.
These areas do not seem to count as outdoor areas, you can't build campfires there.

I noticed that but if you go right off to the side there into the 'haunted woods' warning sign you can build one there.

Just in, and I'm not sure if it's just me or not... it might be an OCR thing, I can't tell. But if I try to talk to someone like Lizuca, she will just turn and flee the temple. No hostility because I'm below the OCR cap but she just flees, lol.

It has been changed to use a touch attack instead. Did you check whether you actually hit them?
On the topic of doors, if you buy a key to a room for the night and rest in Constantin's Fishing Lodge it sets that as your last safe location. When logging in at your last safe location however it puts you back inside of that room trapping you behind a locked door that the key has already been long lost for.
Name: Shield not being recognized when equipped on armor for modification.
Where: Tried at mist camp out side the resting tent and inside the resting tent. This made no difference.
When: This happen when I purchased a new shield from the Visanti and tried to modify the appearance.
What: I have tried reloging and requipping the shield it makes no difference.
Recreate: I have done this multiple times and can not modify such, However many other players can modify the shield. The other player that has issues with this is Talin Wintermark (Player Log in name Full Moon)
Ideas: I am not sure why this has occurred it worked just fine for me on 6\24\2014 but now it seems it does not reconize I have a shield. Below is a screen shot.

The realistic mind-flayer mask seems to have an unreasonably large target radius for some reason and impedes use of objects and doors.

Not sure if this is a glitch (or the right thread), but I recently received a skeleton key item that claims it should act as +5 thieves tools, yet there is no class/alignment restriction. Now when I go to use said item it says I can not use it.

Are you just trying to use the item, or are you using it's "open lock" special ability? You can't actually use the tools as items, so I'd imagine the key would work the same way.

i have tons of stuff quickslotted that are in bags and this never happens to me :|It happens when your items that are quickslotted and put into bags are left there over resets. This is what i have found to be the case, anyway.

Is there still a script in place for pc's to be ported out of dungeon's after logging for 15+ minutes? I assumed there still was, and logged off in a dungeon today - I logged back in after an hour or so, was still in the dungeon and it had reset, meaning I was surrounded by npc enemies. I logged off, waited 20 more minutes and logged back in.. the same thing happened. I know that I have a safe location saved as I had just rested in a room in the Lady's Rest last night. The dungeon that I was in was the Terg Ruins.

Animals dominated using animal empathy are not respond to commands. I've been told by others that summons and companions are also having similar issues. Per the report of another player this started happening after one of the recent updates.

It's working as intended; it's not a magic bag. The bag just weighs 20% less than other bags.

This happened moments before the entire Vistani camp in Tser Pools went hostile on me and chased me off... I now have no way to get an Elixir to get back to the Outskirts or to grab a ride to the Mist Camp <_>

A DM cannot fix it. Everything does it. It's persisted through resets.
I left the area, waited for a while, and returned with a friend. Suddenly everything was back to normal - maybe something to do with my weapon being out the first time? I dunno, but it fixed itself at the time.
another somewhat minor bug, the light sources in the vallaki outskirts morning lord crypts are constantly on, even after a reset. I assume they were meant to be off until someone lights them- however they never go out. The cost of torches and candles must be costing the faction a fortune.....

Intentional now from what I know. They used to be always off.
At approximately hour 11, a vampire from the cave in the rolling hills (which has randomly spawned enemies) followed my PC and another in fleeing from the cave. However, when we met it in combat outside it took no damage from sunlight.
I keep getting the same error message in yellow letters, although I am not sure if it is only me or if the entire server that is receiving this error message.
Either way, I have no idea what it means, what might be causing this or if it is an already known bug. I took a screenshot for the dev team to look at.

The Barovians stay outside at night. I've witnessed this numerous times now.
in vallaki in matatius armory. i ask him to do custom work he looks into my pack. he finds a non broken beetle eletra and he asks what kind of shield i would like to have. buckler, large, or tower shield. with varying costs. none of them work.
Innkeeper at Blue Water Inn charges 30gp twice.

It's like if the Bleak Cap were out of range, when I clicked on it my character would walk toward it then it would just stand there in front of the bleak cap doing as if it was out range. I don't know if they all have the same bug but many of them have it.
I put an herbalist bag of 20 wolf tail in storage at the warehouse. I was charged 10 fang and then another 200 fang, apparently for the 20 individual herbs.
I don't think it has worked this way in the past. When I stored a flask of fiery mandible beetles a few moments before, it charged only for the flask.

Also apparantly if you die on the ghakis mountains, and there is a crash all your entry points will be reset to the Mist Camp. This may be troublesome especially if a crash occured since you may have no chance to return from there without useing OOC means.

I've noticed with imp invis potions there is a slight delay. If you drink it and then imediatly attack or perform another action the potion won't work at all. Drink it and wait a moment and you'll get the concealment.

It may be something occurring with your action queue -- when you click on a potion to drink it, it gets slotted into your action queue, but that queue gets cleared if you move or engage in combat. As a consequence, if you are in the middle of a fight, moving around, hitting things, and try to pause to drink a potion, any subsequent movement or combat that you do before the potion action is finished will clear your action queue before you actually get a chance to drink it. Are you saying that the potion actually gets used up, but you get no effect? I have had potions take effect AFTER I died (needless to say, it is a bummer when the cure potion triggers after you bite the dust), but that is because of the way combat flurries are resolved in the game engine.

I can confirm Ercvadasz situation. It only applies with Improved Invisibility potions. It uses a custom script rather than Cast Spell: Improved Invis.. and there seems to be if you have any interruption or action after the potion is consumed, the spell affect does not apply.

There's a bugged transition in the Hillsides on the Road to Zedinburg. I'm able to go through this transition but not back through it on the other side. The transition on the road works fine, but this transition is slightly more secluded up on some hills. Transitions shown in pictures.
Krezk Outpost tailoring station (loom) does not work. It won't register any materials.
It might actually be the materials sold there. We weren't able to use them at Degannwy, either. But, when we put everything aside, and got a fresh pattern, kit, and yarn, we were able to make what we needed!
The heavy flail "Gavin's Bolt and Timber" offers you +1 EB vs. Undead as well as Dark Vision. Sadly the Dark Vision property doesn't work. I remember the "Goggles of Night" had a similar problem. About two months ago, though, I found a set, put them on and much to my surprise they worked as intend! Been in my inventory ever since. I'm not sure what was changed with the goggles but perhaps the same fix could be applied to the Flail?
Darkvision items do work, but last I checked they still have a bug associated with them -- when they are first equipped, they function normally, but if you unequip the item, the darkvision feat not only goes away, but it cannot be re-instituted when you re-equip the item. You have to wait for a reset of the server for the item to work properly again. I have not used a Goggles of Night for a while, but I could occasionally get it to work upon re-equipping the item, but that was only if the helmet had been taken off and re-equipped in a short period of time (my assumption is that there is a delay in saving information server-side, and so the game might not notice you had unequipped the item in the first place).
I actually have goggles of the night and it worked like a charm thus far.

The will penalty of the Sanctuary of the Dawn crypts apparently stacks on relogging. Transitioning to a new zone seems to fix it, but that's not always an option.

Nori's pawnshop at the Quartier Ourvier might be buggy because everything is being sold at 1gp... Even expensive stuff like my pocketwatch and armor made out of vampire hide.

I just checked in-game and his prices seem fine.
edit: I also tested his selling price and it was fine for me. Out of curiosity, did you wear a helm/hood when trying to sell him something? When you wear helms/hoods when selling to merchants, it applies a -8 in Dementlieu and -15 in Barovia to your appraise modifier. Nori himself has 14 Appraise, so that could explain why you get such bad rates.
Know where this NPC is located?
As for the Pawn Shop merchant, I'll change him in a future update anyway so he only takes Appraise into account. Considering he's a dwarven shady merchant, he shouldn't take into account OcR at all let alone penalize people for wearing hoods.
The NPC is located at the village of Barovia in a shop called "___'s (forgot the name) Foundry" on your way to the Lightbringer temple you should see it.
The merchant at the general store in blaustien does not purchase merchant gloves, but takes everything else.

Wait, is the there a difference between gunpowder and black powder? When using a Powder Horn or Gunpowder pouch on a powder keg in my inventory I got a "*Failure - Invalid Target*" Using another powder keg on one gave me a "Only black powder can be loaded in to this object" Is black powder something me have to make? I've been trying to figure out how to but got suck.
Question if there is a lot of powder and someone casts a fire attack spell, ala fireball, can it trigger the script to create a big explosion? :P

This included when I was duel wielding with it in the primary hand (it wouldn't notice the offhand weapon either).
When I was duel wielding with it in the off hand, it only registered the primary weapon.
When wielding with a shield it registered only the shield.
Aerienna's Scorching Club does not seem to be affected by this problem at all.
When I roll over the alchemical bolts sold by the beekeeper, they show as red for my gnome character. The description says they are limited to "gnomes, wizards."
Should my character be able to use them, or does she have to be both a gnome and a wizard?

I only tried once, but today when my character was poisoned, he used some healing kits and they did not roll to cure the poison. The message simply said he wasn't wounded.
You should have both.
It's a bug when Darkvision is granted via an item. In a recent update, I fixed it for the ECL subraces by giving the feat directly to the PC, however people with subraces will either need to wait for a level up or ask a DM to use the Fix Character tool on their PC to get it.
It's a bug when Darkvision is granted via an item. In a recent update, I fixed it for the ECL subraces by giving the feat directly to the PC, however people with subraces will either need to wait for a level up or ask a DM to use the Fix Character tool on their PC to get it.

Faerie Fire is buggy for now; as for Darkness, you should have a widget in your inventory with the spell usable once per day.
We're hoping to fix that by the next hak update sometime in late December/early January.
When you purchase thieves tools from Bigo Gearling in the Black Market, the stacks in the shop double. So, if I purchase a set of +8 tools, there will be 2 in the stack the next time, then 4 if I purchase the 2.
Should druids have access to Owl's Wisdom as a spell? Even rangers get it.

I have no idea if it is a bug, I'm sort of hoping it is, the shield hammer weighs 23 lbs were a normal war hammer weights only 8 lbs. other war hammers weigh maybe 2 more or less than 8, not 15 more.

Unable to craft appearance for Aerienna's Scorching Dagger (multiple times tried today, in different locations)
Chatbox didn't seem to register that a weapon was equipped at all
This included when I was duel wielding with it in the primary hand (it wouldn't notice the offhand weapon either).
When I was duel wielding with it in the off hand, it only registered the primary weapon.
When wielding with a shield it registered only the shield.
Aerienna's Scorching Club does not seem to be affected by this problem at all.
I found the issue; it was flagged as Plot for some reason. I'll remove that.
In the small cave very near the tser fall bridge there is a bear, a werewolf and a man (just called man) frozen in time, I have never been in this cave before but I'm pretty sure something is wrong XD
In the description for the item "Cold Stone" it says that these items give off extreme cold when crushed, making them an ideal ingredient for frost traps. But when I activate a trap kit on one as I would on spikes or a varnish, nothing happens.Those are for the NWN trap crafting skill. I don't believe they (or the other similar things) have any use in PotM's crafting system.
Convert them to varnish, then to cold traps if I recall.
Not too sure if it's a really minor issue, but I don't think it deserves its own thread, either.
The reworked Forest Fane near the Village of Barovia, after this update, has the problem that
one can't get to the top layer of the hills, where the hag and the new bear cave are. Tried looking for a way,
but there was no ramp at all.

I just found a smithy by clicking on random doors in Vallaki, it's called Narum's smithy. maybe it should have a marker on the mini map and a sign outside of the door.
Alchemical Bullet Templates only create Normal Bullets from the metal made ala I tried copper last night and got normal copper bullets yet they were DC 20 not the lower normal DC for the copper bullets

Petre seems to be paying excessive amounts for furs. He paid 836 gold for nothing extraordinary.
The last time I sold him furs I recall getting a bunch of money, too, but I had many more than this time--several pages of inventory. This time it seemed crazy high for how many I put on the table.
The smelter in Ragdar's place in Port-a-Lucine doesn't work. It just says there are lacking or improper ingredients in it.

2nd: the Parry skill ac system does not always function as intended. When buffing with the following at ac 24, cats grace, barkskin, aura of vitality the parry bonus drops off and only through equiping/unequiping does it get re-added correctly.

The candle in the OOC - New Character Area is perpetually lit, it seems. It's only supposed to be lit when someone is in the Prelude, unless the sign next to it is wrong. Persisting over resets.

There's a limit to how many will spawn in a 24 hour (real life) period.

After the update to BETA 2.02b Weyland is not getting the correct bonus to Fortitude for his enchanted silk clothing with lining of cured troll skin. Also, not getting correct Fortitude bonus for enchanted steel-plated troll skin boots. I'm not sure if it's allowed to post item stats here on the forum...maybe a DM or dev could look at it? Thanks.

The halflings outside the ants complain about the ant problem but there is no follow up if you kill them all including the queen, is this an uncompleted quest?
In both the ants and the crypts I am seeing the whole level come to you after you engage your first battle, I have had times in the ants where I have had to kill every ant on the first level as a result of my first encounter attracting them all.

That sounds like a interesting idea actually to make the dungeon a little more desirable. If the queen dropped some sort of quest item you could take to the halflings to turn in for a little extra XP/GP as a reward.

Devils (from the Perfidus exterior? Although I'm looking now and there aren't any of the right spawns near to the transitions at all) are apparently sometimes ending up in the The Mists - Vistani Camp - Arrival and slaughtering everything in sight. This has happened several times in the past month or two.
It doesn't seem like they're following PCs all the way back, so maybe it's something else?
