Title: Areas - Old Cabin on the Lake/Zarcroft Asylum
Post by: KoopaFanatic on March 01, 2009, 12:02:38 PM
I was out on the east road herb-hunting today, and had a thought.  Inmates are always taken to the Asylum in carriages (at least per the DM shouts I've seen...), but the bridge to the Asylum itself is actually pretty far away from Svalich Road.  A side road or trail heading north from the road, across the transition to the Asylum bridge would make a lot of sense -- otherwise, the carriages would be getting mired down a lot.  It would also point new players to this transition, which is otherwise somewhat hidden.  Something marking the transition by the old cabin would be nice, too...

(If the carriage approach is supposed to be over the hill on the Zarcroft Asylum map, the same point applies -- the road ends well before the bridge.)

...and, if the carriage goes at night (like the one that took Nara'ia to the asylum), that hill is often well-patrolled by wolfweres.  And wolfweres and horses don't mix.  The first path would probably be safer.  And yes, it could use a road.  :?
