Title: Examine Function
Post by: Serevain on June 26, 2008, 11:25:15 PM
The custom examine feat, is the info given based off your own stats and ability to perceive things?

Virgil has 5 Wisdom and 6 Intelligence, and he only is told in the description about the person's Strength and Charisma, while Tristan has intelligence 14 and wisdom 12, and he gets all of the information on stats.

Yes it is. I have two chars who can detect all five abilities, and 3 chars who can detect less; Poor Ram and Delarion can only see 3 things about people.  :(

No, you can't. Would be nice if you had high WIS.

Yeah those were my thoughts exactly. Or maybe lore would be more appropriate.

I dunno. Spot is iffy since it doesn't really let you be privy to knowledge your character wouldn't know. Like, you might notice something off about a person, but you wouldn't know exactly what race they are unless you have lore.
