In the past forenight a man reconized by a few nobles and later ezra priests named Bolson was seen taking the battered and dead body of Warden Nell into the catherdrel he was then seen paying a hefty fee for her treatment and healing. Through ezra's grace she was returned to life and after having her wounds tended for by both the priests and the tracker Bolson she slipped into a peaceful slumber. After making sure she was covered in warm clothes Bolson was seen leaving the Catherdrel for the Blue Water Inn.

On mass day as the bells ring the call to the Church, at the pew can be seen sitting a beautiful young girl, her skin dark and black hair giving her a vistani look but by her accent is quickly dismissed as a Mordentoise. She sings the hymns with a voice that rise above all else in talent and perhaps even faith from all appearances. She wears a simple white dress with hints of green, her hair held together with a green kerchief in a Barovian style. Once mass is over she returns to the Broken Bell where she lives and works, murmurs some that have seen her previously. Quiet but mesmerizing, she is talked about quite a bit by men and women alike.

Scealed invitations with Smaller Print than those seen throughout the city about the coming of Andre Bellamont are sent on behalf of Armand LeBarthe to all members of the church,

*A neatly written but poorly spelt note is left at the church of Ezra*
I wuld be liking to talk about Ezra more,

*Warden Callois reads the note carefully, folds it neatly, tucks it away in the folds of her robe and heads towards the west*

Late at night in the past day or so, a figured cloaked in dark black cloths face covered and voice masked delivered personally to the Toret a bag sealed tightly inside a locked box. A simple phrase was whispered to him. "..tell me when your ready.." The figure then left quietly into the night.
The toret reading the letter inside the box would follow
Inform when your ready to dispose of this filth to the four corners of the core.
F.C
Inside the box were four stone bricks blessed and carved with runes against evil.
Also inside was a letter to Nell.
We need to speak about this and a few other matters at your convince.

*shortly before dawn a night ago the man known to many as Bolson a tracker of ezra was seen being brought into the cathderal by a small group cloaked in the shadows and dark clothes. When asked what happened one man explained that Bolson was attacked, but his attacker was dealt with, though Bolson was determined to be in a deep sleep. Though treated and eventually awoken many hours later from rest those that had brought him in had left, wishing that he got well soon. During this time of his rest after being treated an elven woman dressed in simple forest like clothes was seen coming in with much concern. She was seen tending to him in her own way, and when asked by the Toret was told to him she was his wife. After awakening a bit later, the two left, Bolson tired, beaten and weak but needing rest and time to think, or so he said to the Toret*

*During the night a heard of Oxen moves into the nobles district. The nobles, in complete fear of the beasts, have decided to stay indoors until the area is cleaned*

Yesterday afternoon a man clad in green was seen to enter the cathedral. After he left, a nude body was found discarded at the alter. The body has been identified as Sister Sonja Divac of Barovia. She was obviously slain by decapitation, though some care was taken to try and restitch the head to the torso. Her face bares the expression of extreme sadness and/or grief.
-
Calson on duty at the time in the Cathderal when the body was brought in tries to get teh description of the green man before taking the fallen form of Sonja and with the Torets aid carefully tends to her body for later burial.
He then looks at the Toret, "I'm going to figure out wha happened..." he says and without waiting for further reply dashes off to find the green man
-
Warden Nell Ward is said by the Toret to have departed just the night before with a companion, and has not yet returned to recieve the grave news but is expected back at the Cathedral within the week.
-
Several nobles speak as they head into the safety of the Blue Water about Warden Callois making her way with several bags smelling of fungi towards the Cathedral.
Those who were leaving the cathedral speak of her ashen face as she blessed a pile of equipment on the floor and of her dragging it inside, while confering with the Toret in hushed whispers.
-
An impressive force gathered around the Temple, led by a High ranking officer, the guards were silent about the motives of the presence, some speak having seen the officer leave with one of the Priestess dressed in green towards the Citadel.
-
Atlantia, the temple mystic from the morninglordians was seen delivering the remains of the poor soul that was lost up on mt. ghakis. Wishing the ezerites the best she departed with out asking for any reward.
-
A tired anchorite is seen coming at the brink of dawn to the Cathedral. She's seen kneeling and speaking to the Toret about losing a heart.
-
As nobles discuss the latest trends with the coming of spring, as well as the stench of all the outlanders becoming unbearable with the raising tempertures, a gruff private heads toward the Church of Ezra, cursing his luck. He is seen walking inside the church, his muddied boots staining the marble.
-
Kept watch over by the Toret, the elf called Virgil takes up residence in the Ezrite chapel. When he sleeps, he tosses and turns, and he seldom, if ever, speaks.
-
*From within the Cathedral several worried prayers rise and fall throughout the stormy night. Locals who look out the window see Temple Guard Tasha and Warden Ward leaving the temple distraught. The Toret and his anchorites appear haggard and worried.*
-
*As the bell peels for the last service of the day, an empty cathedral is all that greets the two anchorites as they celebrate a conmemorative mass and remind the nonpresent faithful that they're seeking fungi for the coming harsh winter cold.*

Zeklos Boyar Guards were seen escorting the Chapel Anchorite from the Zeklos Keep to the Cathedral, where the funeral for the Invidian war veteran Sonja Divac, took place.
Various rumors have taken shape since the funeral. Some assert that a Boyar Guard was seen stumbling fearfully from the Cathedral, a light airy mists billowing out with him while he was overheard cursing the "Ezrite witches." While others assert that a miracle had taken place within the Cathedral, and that a sense of tranquility and calm was pervassive as the Chapel Anchorite was escorted back to Zeklos Keep. What was noticed by some was that unlike most funeral services, while the Boyar Guards were seen carrying the coffin into the Cathedral, no coffin was seen ever exiting the Cathedral.
-
Word has it that Late Merchant Denalie Grant will receive a Funeral Service in the coming days, a call to all her friends and loved ones is under way.

It is rumored that visiting Toret Inquisitor Arthur Rowley has invited all the clergy and laymen to a Dinner at the Blue Water Inn. Toret Inquistor Rowley's previous Fifth Day sermon has been a common topic as of late within the Cathedral.
-
Rumors of Rebels once again troubling Vallaki reach the Cathedral, as it seems many Anchorites and Laymen frequent the Broken Bell, the latest bloody scene of rebellion.
Some recall the day when the Gundarakite Rebels blew up the barraks just south of the Cathedral. Anchorite Nell Ward had with divine strength carried from the smouldering rubble a barely living Vallaki Guard, his skin severely burned, moments away from his last breath, before the prayers of the Toret restored the man, saving his life.
-
Word spreads that Templar Daeros Amanar miraculously reappeared one dark and early morning in the Cathedral after having been missing for at least a month.
-
During a recent sermon by a visiting Inquistor Rowley (sp?) Templar Bolson was seen at one point to silently get up from the sermon and leave shutting the door behind him in front of all present, those few that looked would see that his face held back a angered look.
-
In the early first morning hours after sun rise a small diminutive man wearing black and green colored clothes with a similar hood is seen carrying the badly injured body of Bolson into the church. When the Toret asked about what happened the man replies. "We were up fighting some undead. They were overwhelming us and my companions. He told us to run and he would hold them off. If it wasnt for him we would be dead. We tried rousing him but he wont wake up." The man said then left citing he needed to get other things done.
Examination of Bolson would show he is in some catatonic state probably from some horrible sight he saw that his mind couldnt take.
OOC: ok im posting this for my friend Wiltin who doesnt got forum access yet just fyi
-
Inquisitor Vertias is noted taking time to study the pressure points of the body with a Falkovnian man in private in the church. Their lessons continue for extended periods, and the Inquisitor walks away from them with extensive notes.
-
Templar Bolson Caraway is seen more and more lately around the Church often in prayer and also often disciplining himself on various studies and matters. He speaks at times with the Toret quietly on one or two matters from a prayer book. Other times he simply prays for several hours on some matter. His complexion is sadden and quiet but he still gives a warm smile to any that approach him.
He is also seen cleaning and straightening up the Church at times where needed and helping out at he various sermons as well. Upon one evening of being asked after one of the sermons by the Toret of where he has been for the past many weeks he replies. "...Family life seems not well suited for me trouble with it is what brings me back here now...after all there wasnt much i coulda done." He then gives a weak smile at the worried look. "...do not worry for me Toret I am fine and shall always be till Ezra takes me into her final embrace."
He also leaves a small letter near Nell's things.
Warden if we could speak at some point I would appreciate it.

During the days of the rampaging mob of peasantry, smoke cointinues to rise periodacly from the direction of the cathedral. Word spreads that upon the first passing of the mob that effigys of the anchorites, in their green robes, were set to fire, as rocks and torches bombarded the cathedral front, shattering through the stained glass windows, setting fire to parts of the cathedral within.
The statue of Ezra, that has stood since the construction of the cathedral just a few years ago, was burned, reduced to a pile of smouldering stone; strange fragments of limbs and parts.
It is said that before the mob resumes each morning for their "Liberation," that the debree and rubble from the night's destruction is cleaned to some extent.
The large window frames, that had once through stained glass told the story of Ezra and her gathered anchorites, have been boarded up solid.
-
Over the past few days, the Cathedral in the Nobles' District seems more akin to a warehouse than a temple. The grass has been trampled so many times it's mostly mud by the side-entrnace. Several planks and boards are seen about, as well as blackish stains that from the coal that has slipped out of a torn bag. Workers and anchorites are seen lugging and transporting in wheelbarrows bags full of iron ore.
-
Some of the neighbors, Barovian nobles who'se glory has faded, their coffers running dry of gold, speak of the green robed effigy that had been set ablaze out front of the cathedral by the mobs.
In the morning rain and light after the rioting of the so-call Liberation Day, men and women clad in shades of green are seen working as a team, scaling the high walls of the Refuge of the Fifth Light, removing the boarded oaken planks from the stained glassed windows, and are seen wheel barrelling these planks and other supplies through the wet cobble streets towards the rectory. By the end of the day, before the sun is swallowed up in the west, the cathedral of the Refuge of the Fifth Light is emaculate, even if the rumors circulating from Zeklos Keep that same day are not.
-
During the dark of night, under a rare and cloudless sky, the ground and structure of the cathedral of the Refuge of the Fifth Light, quaked and shook, as a deafening roar broke the errie quiet. If the neighbors, as they slept fitfully, or soudly, behind their barred doors, heard anything in their slumber, perhaps it would have been mistaken for strange thunder, for there was not a cloud in the sky.
Come morning though, a passing stroller might overhear talk of an imjorri, and heretic, having been laid to rest, as Ezrites clean up any rat corpses and trash within the vincinity of the cathedral and nearby rectory, in their daily custum.
-
[A short note, written in a fluid hand, using carefully formed letters, is left in the cathedral for all to see]
At first glance, it would appear that the First and Third books of Ezra cannot possibly both be true, but both can co-exist, and be entirely true. The only thing that needs be said, is that the Mists of Death, and the legions, are deceitful, even to the Gods. Ezra the Goddess, in order to enter the Hollow and protect the faithful, became Ezra the Mortal. Through Her devotion and selflessness, she became a Goddess once more at the end of Her Mortal days.
-
[A porcelain hand reaches for the aforementioned note - unmistakable, the new Warden Winterlass's ivory cold countenance can be seen marching off with it - brow furrowed and deep in contemplation, as she revisits the matter in study.]
-
As nightfalls on the 10th day of the 5th month Barovian Calendar, Acolyte Orlando Ceauêcescu arrives from the Great Cathedral in Levakrest to report to Murger Costinus to complete his training.
His arrival is quiet and unassuming.
-
*the note was taken away*
-
The symbol can be seen taken away. It is rumored the Sentire himself is debating with the new arrived acolyte.
-
The rumours about what happening at the Keep are well known in the Church of Ezra. Nevertheless passersby by can't help notice a very beautiful fey-born shivering like a leaf in the wind at every mentioning of the Von Zeklos name and everything related to that. She is rumoured almost never to leave either the Cathedral or the Rectory since a few days.
-
A guard is seen knocking at the rectory's door, asking that a healer of the church presents himself at the infirmary of the citadel as soon as possible.
-
[It's been rumored that the young Templar known as Card has in fact been formerly introduced to the young, bashful new lay-woman Kaeyna, and has offered his assistance in the learning of Lady Ezra from time to time.]
-
*A pale woman missing her left hand has been seen leaving a note for Cote Poisson*
"Your order is ready, sir. Contact me as soon as possible, I won't be for much longer in Vallaki.

A young dementilieuese female seems to be spending time within the church. Often times she is seen praying to Ezra. Other times she is seen reading the various books of Ezra as if she is studying them. The girl introduces her name as Clarisse Lavoie if she is ever asked her name by the other members of the church.
-
The Ezra Clergy of the Fifth lights seem to have come under attack once more, Roman and Mugur were struck down by a robed figure, cloaked in shadows and shimmering lights, Svari, son of the Burgomaster was missing, the church left empty baring the bodies of the clergy....later Svari returned, wounded and shocked...
-
Clarisse seems to be spending some time in the church praying. One may also note she is spending time preparing a sermon for the up coming fifth day that she shall be speaking at.
//this sunday at 3 PM EST.
-
Following a stand-off in the church following the sermon, garda notices are placed upon the doors of the church and around the Nobles district, surrounding the Ezrite Church.

[The flier is removed from the cathedral itself and placed instead across the street upon a street lamp's post, still within public viewing]
-
Rumors go out following the sermon held by Warden Clarisse Lavoie. The most talked about is the fact that as the Warden prayed openly to Ezra and gave her sermon mists formed around her. Yet it is stated she did not fear them, almost as if she was happy by the mist's presence for what ever reason. A man was said to accuse the Warden of Witchcraft and stormed out. the other rumor that is heard is that a dementilieuse man had the audacity to deny Ezra's existence as well as others and said he would prove it in Dementilieu.

There is some talk of baptisms of some people into the faith of Ezra happening the day prior to the Feast of the First Epiphany.

A stream of peasants, and grieving widows were seen going towards the church of Ezra in the noble of district to mourn the passing of brave Barovian young men in the recent invasion recently. The coffins of the fallen soldiers that worshiped Ezra displayed out in front of the altar. The burial is said to be in about a day, so that the mourners can have time to grieve and pay there respects.
-
A procession of weeping and sadness was seen leading from the church of Ezra towards the outskirts carrying the coffins so that they may be buried in the graveyard.
-
Talk in the Church is that soon there is to be a pilgrimage to Port-á-Lucine to visit the cathedral there and the Holy stained glass image of Ezra.

[A woman of red haired beauty, seems to stalk the nights inside the church. She often wanders through the tomes of holy words, and texts chronicling the rites of pious men and women of the cloth.
As always, she seems curious and eager with her questions, pestering many clerics, anchorites and wardens with words of intrigue and interest regarding the Ezrite faith.
This woman, who seems to carry herself with a prideful, even vain appearance quickly became to be called by the chapel's locals as the 'red noble'.
Some of her questions, were heard to invoke even anger or disgust in some of the pass byers, by her questioning the authenticity of this so called "Fifth Sect" and their existence and the way to handle with such sinners and heretics.
All in all, another true believer has joined the ranks of the lady of mists, if all about, a dark tongued follower]
-
A new man seems to have been spotted in the church. There are two things that become quite obvious about this man. the first is that he is from Falkovinia. The second he seems to be a member of the zealous fourth sect.
-
Voices of a blitz visit of Bastion Sarlota Otrava from the Mordentish Church spread fast in the Noble District of Vallaki. One can just wonder what is happening within the walls owned by the Dilisnya cultists these days...
-
A massive stir was caused earlier today when a woman sporting bat-like wings was escorted by a collection of Vardo, Ezrites and Guarda from the Ezrite church to the citadel, her chin held high despite the jeers and insults hurled at her by residents. She was taken into the citadel and the heavy doors were slammed shut and bolted. Anyone who has two brain cells to rub together are certain of the winged womans fate: Torture, Interrogation, Death.
-
[after an event earlier today, rumors go around speaking about it]
"A battle occured in the Holy church of Ezra! no true sign that the Mists of Death are real then when they forge an object of evil and they try to fight a holy exorcisim by sending a demon cloaked in living flame! Yet with the holy power of Ezra the demon of living flame was destroyed along with the evil object, no surer sign that the Guardian in the mists watches over us!"
-
Word spreads among those of the Refuge of Fifth light about Inquisitor Ivorn Meisser's impromptu inspection of the rectory's bed bunks. The result known to those present, if only for the abrupt way the Inquisitor was seen exiting the rectory with a box.
It is said soon after he was seen securing horse and carriage at the Warehouse district heading toward the west.
-
talk goes around that the man by the name of virgil Luceanu was baptised by warden lacusta of the fourth revelation today. It is said that it was a small ceromony and there were not that many visitors, but nevertheless this is a joyous occasion for one has joined the faith...
-
talk goes around that an older barovian man by the name of Dragomir Viorica was baptized by Warden Morello into the Home Faith; rumor has it that a garda was their to witness as well as several of the faithful.

Following fifth day service, which had several of the laity show up, it is talked that the next day was the baptisim of Gaylene into the fourth sect of Ezra. It is said that both the fifth day service and the baptisim was conduct by warden morello.
-
Word has been spreading the past several days that the Refuge of the Fifth Light was visited by three winged creatures calling themselves Furies. They apparently came seeking revenge against the layman Vladimir Gainatz. After a verbal confrontation with the Sentire and others present, they took flight shrieking, and exited by crashing through a stained glass window.
-
Rumors go around that the Church of Ezra is working on raising money to help rebuild the market district.
-
Word has spread that Sentire Stefania Milea has been sacked, and the Mugur Costinus has been reinstated as the interim sentire pending an investigation into Milea's affairs.
-
As the dawns light touches the temple, a whispered voice, more a plea then a prayer, echo's around the vaulted ceiling.
...Blessed Ezra... My Guardian...
The silence drags out, broken only by a soft sobbing, which eventually fades.
I.... I have no words left to say... no breath left to give.. no pain left to feel.
I've served you... past death.. past life.. past honour... past faith.. past love...
Please.. let my life end soon.. i cannot bear this any longer...
Amen.
The silence closes back in, the vaulted ceiling falling quiet, there was no answer, but then, there never is.

Anyone walking near the Nobles District would smell a lingering stench of smoke, fire and burnt flesh.
The stench grows stronger as one approaches the Ezrite Rectory.

*a young invidian woman with red hair has been seen going ot the church and praying. Rumors say she has been asking to meet with a local anchorite or Toret"
-
A lady has been seen often, sometimes during the day, others during the night, busy scrubbing the marble floor of the Refuge of the Fifth Light. She wears layman robes, and she might not be a cleaning woman employed by the Church.
-
Two Anchorites could be seen and heard, cleaning the Refuge vigorously. Perhaps in preparation for something.

the elven woman, Amelia Snow, was seen being baptized recently by toret Macgillivray.

The half-Vistani woman, Elana, was seen being baptized recently by Toret macGillivray.

After a long journey from the Grand Cathedral in Levkarest a new face has arrived in Vallaki. A stern man with a serious task. Whispers and rumors spread like wildfire through the small congregation- Inquisitor Gioffre Zsorgia of the Third Sect has arrived and he has much work to complete.

The local forfarian Toret, Siobhan MacGillivray was seen baptizing another Forfarian that some might recognize as the local forfarian Guard, Sionn Buchanon. The chanting hymns and prayers could be heard in their own Forfarian language
-
The blind cripple girl known as Viorela is left exhausted and bloody in the care of the church.... she passes out on a pew, until one of her own is able to tend her.
((whoever I catch in-game first))
-
A pint-sized Westerner was seen being baptized by Inquisitor Martel with the aid of Acolyte Viorela. The Halfling could be heard praying in Luktar in the hours following the ceremony.
-
Evelyn Aigrette can be seen standing in what might be vigil in the Refuge of the Fifth Light. She remains at the forward pews, occasionally asking the members of the clergy or Templars within if the Toret MacGillivray, or Inquisitors Veritas and Martel are expected soon. Her expression seems tense, urgent.
-
A man has been seen in the Ezrite church for the last few days, his clothes are expensive but a little rumpled. He spends his days in prayer or in writing and playing his violin, he seems tired and a little afraid. Twin wounds are on the nape of his neck, and every night he asks to be tied down in one of the pews.

Massacre!
The whole congregation of the Refuge of Fifth Light was slain in a vicious attack by monsters! A few outlanders gave chase but the monsters quickly disappeared from sight. Later, garda came upon the scene, and helped to carry the bloodied corpses of the slain -- easily over a dozen, perhaps as many as twenty -- to the Rectory.
Rumours have it that the Midnight Raptor was involved, and that something was stolen...
(Scene was run/supervised by DM Mephisto)
-
Templar Evelyn Aigrette of the Fourth Sect could be seen with an initiate of the Templar Order in the Refuge, solemnly giving brief rights to those slain during the attack. She stands vigil for several hours over the bodies.
To any that enter the Refuge, the Templar would simply declare, her voice cold, but set, that, "The Legion will answer for the sacrilege and evil that was committed here. The Lady in the Mist protects her faithful, always."
The Refuge would be locked come nightfall.
-
Slaughter, horror, massacre! As morning comes the Refuge is a sight of bloody death and sacrilege. The shredded and violated remains of templars, wardens, laborers and the faithful lay in crumpled heaps upon the floor. Amongst the dead are Sentire Mugur Costinus and Toret Roman Tobeichik. They died defending their temple. The center shrine of The Icon of Danzig has been burglarized and the icon stolen.
//OOC note: Ignore the npcs, Mugur Costinus and Roman Tobeichik. If they respawn please notify any DM for removal. Also the shrine in the back is locked and the relic gone.
-
Despite the recent tragedy a miracle of faith occurs. Sentire Costinus and Toret Tobeichik have been returned to service. Although the grim task of giving last rites and a burial to the fallen is not lessoned by their task. The Icon remains stolen and questions of the congregations security have been brought into question.
//OOC note: Ignore the npcs, Mugur Costinus and Roman Tobeichik. If they respawn please notify any DM for removal. Also the shrine in the back is locked and the relic gone.

As the morning sun lights Vallaki, fresh ink still shimmers on the door of the Refuge of the Fifth Light, barely painted before the break of dawn.
-
Viorela fails to report home to her husband, but she is not difficult to find. Those seeking her would find her to spend a full night and day in somber prayer within the refuge....
Speaking to the clergy and fellow Templars, the Templar Knight of the Rectory might gently mention that the Warden had a trying night... but he says no more on her behalf.
((DM Bastellus approved))
-
Word would spread of a confrontation that took place in the Refuge during the night. Some say that a Lycan beast, a Neuri or wolf-man, attacked the church, smashing in through the upper stained glass windows of the Refuge. Broken glass, scattered across the grounds, rests as testimony to the attack, but aside from some small scratches on the Templars present at the Refuge, there is no more damage, be it to the church, or its faithful.
Templar Evelyn Aigrette of the Fourth Sect could be seen in the cold morning following this eventful night, standing vigil outside the Refuge, her expression firm, defiant, and grateful. Her words are a declaration to any that pass by the church as the faithful come for morning prayers.
"The Church defies the servants of the Legion in all forms! By Ezra's will and protection, did we face the terrors that sought to attack us, and strike them down! The Icon is restored! Take heed and take witness. Only the faithful can be saved when the Time of Darkness comes! Only in the arms of Ezra can you be truly preserved!"

At the moment, two people are in the cathedral an dwarf and a human girl making some disturbance in cathedral. The rumors spread around among the workers who are working there. some of them say the girl sacrificed herself for the goddess, other say that the dwarf did something to her at the altar that made her fall. whatever it is, the rumors are spreading fast around the noble district.
P.C. This has yet to be happened :S
these rumors will be postponed for within a week time (or until players at that time will be available to finish what they started)

[As the long Barovian night gives way to the coming dawn, light would fall upon a proclamation nailed to the church's door.]
HERE BE A DEN OF SIN!
YE OF GOODLY AND LAWFUL TEMPERMENT, BEWARE! THIS RECTORY BE NOT WHAT IT CLAIMS! LIES, HERESY, AND DECEIT ARE ALL THAT SHALL BE FOUND HERE! ALLOW YOURSELF NOT TO BE TRAPPED BY THEIR UN-TRUTHS! FLEE! AS FAST AS THEY FEET MAY CARRY YOU, FLEE THIS DISMAL PLACE AND SEEK TRUE SALVATION!

Not very long after the paper has been left, it has already been taken from its place by an imposing green clad figure.
Beneath the hood of his cloak there was a pair of radiant orbs of topaz color that could be seen.

Word has it an Ezrite Inquisitor from Levkarest has arrived and met with Sentire Costinus. Some word spreads that heresy has been heard to have crossed into Barovia from neighboring Borca. Word spread this man seeks to receive aid in a matter (http://www.nwnravenloft.com/forum/index.php?topic=11857.msg573061#msg573061) and has been said to be open to aid from outside of the Church itself.

Rumours are going wild about the visit of Bastion Otrava of the Second Sect in Vallaki. It is not clear if she's spending time in the Refuge of the Fifth Light, but it's given for granted she's going to be the one to celebrate the mass for the First Epiphany (5th of May) in former Von Zeklos, now Raduta, Keep.
-
In the early hours of the morning, a barely dressed and barefoot red headed woman of rare beauty ran into the church. Covered in mud and blood and clearly traumatised, colapsing in a corner crying

Over the span of a few days a young woman, often cloaked in crimson, has been seen entering and leaving the church at random times throughout the night. She never seems to linger and appears to be at least slightly uncomfortable in the surroundings of the church. Conversation with members of the clergy are brief at best, however she almost always leaves at least a small donation before taking her leave.
-
For a short period, the sign of the Refuge of the Fifth Light appears to be draped and covered, until a pair of workers showed up to remove whatever defacement the sign had originally.
Word has it that at the end of an evening service; a vampire showed up with a group of frightening constructs to vandalize the front of the church. Fortunately, after a brief skirmish, the threats were repelled by the time the sun had risen.
-
The veiled woman known as Odelle is seen within the church for most of the day, keeping to herself. She spends the day in varying States of inebriation, seemingly either in quiet thought or prayer by the North alcove window.

In the early hours of the 15th of Avril, a young Dementlieuse woman of fair beauty donned a pure white robe of the laity and began mopping the floors of the Refuge of the Fifth Light. Despite her comely features, her expression seemed sorrowful as she labored on the tiles of the Church. By the evening, she seemed finished, and left the Church in black and green leathers, an ornate Rapier sitting on her hip.

Word has it that the Borcan Toret known as Luca Barbarigo has returned to the Rectory after a month long absence, tending to the sanctuary ritualistically.
-
Of a morning, a Borcan in salt-white prayer robes goes about the chancel of the church, chanting notes and singing disjointed verses from popular hymns.
It would seem he is practicing for choir and experimenting with the acoustics of the grand hall.

There was word of a terrible tremor taking place within the Ezrite sanctuary. Although none were hurt and the building stayed stable, word has it that a precious holy relic was damaged in the middle of the chaos.

Toret Matthew Garrett is seen directing Templars carrying chests and crates from the Refuge and Rectory. Later, Toret Garrett and many of Her Second Revelation are seen leaving the Nobles District and walking through the city of Vallaki headed somewhere.

The three earlier censored paintings (https://www.nwnravenloft.com/forum/index.php?topic=6665.msg740928#msg740928) flutter somewhere new.
The horned moth perches on the refuge, instead.

A lowborn Borcan woman was seen lingering inside the grand church. She lit a candle and prayed fearfully.
On her way out, she was overheard speaking in Balok to one of the templars, asking for a priest who would listen to her confession.
//Send me a forum PM is you play an Ezrite priest and are interested in confessional RP. If yours is a newer character, I especially encourage you to reach out.

An armoured and rough-looking woman of the faith, one sporting the scars of recent greivous injury that is, could seen entering the church just before Vespers. Some time after, she leaves, no longer wearing the green cloak she arrived in.

Starting at the crack of dawn, a short and heavy looking Ezranite in white robes strode powerfully up to the Rectory in the Nobles' District, a broom gripped tightly in his hands, and began sweeping the dirt off of the cobblestone paths around the area. Eventually making his way over to the Refuge of the Fifth itself, cleaning its steps, the dust around its signs and statues.
Diligently he worked his way through the whole morning and better part of the day cleaning the interior itself. Between the pews, the corners of the chamber, and at the feet of the statues of Ezra.
He goes on to be seen doing the same the next day.

A man and a woman are seen bearing a coffin into the Refuge of Fifth Light the last nightfall - a dire and mournful tiding if ever there was one. They speak at some length with one of the templar, a red-haired dementlieuse woman oft seen about - Emma - and the man leaves after some time. His replacement, it would seem, is the visiting Toret of Edrigan, Jacques Martel. He spends some time counselling the woman and making arrangements, before escorting her back to the Blue Water, and having the templar place the deceased in the crypts pending a service.

A tall, imposing Darkonian man with dark grey eyes and a peppered beard can be seen praying before the Sacred Candle in an alcove of the Refuge for the past few nights. He wears the dark, heavy platemail armor typical of an Ezrite Templar dedicated the Chapel of the Last Redoubt. An Inquisitorial seal of the Church of Ezra can be seen pinned near the clasp of his green cloak.
He is silent during his supplications, but his face seems deeply troubled. He speaks only at length to those of the Ezrite congregation, and little else to any others. He seems to be waiting for someone when not at prayer.

An odd scene during the early morning hours are fully on display, as the day grows closer, this "odd" scene turns into a horrific one.

A red-haired and plateclad woman in green is seen clearing the scene.

[Early each morning, a Darkonian woman clad in plated steel armor can be seen jogging from the door of the Refuge and southward out of the Nobles' District, cutting westward through the city and out the city's gate onto the road. Her jog takes a northern turn by the gallows, where she runs further up the road until she reaches the Romulich orchards. When the compound's walls are in sight, she turns back around, and jogs her way back.
Then after, she can be found by the gallows just beyond the Outskirts, seemingly practicing her swordsmanship alone. She shifts through a myriad of stances and forms, seeing to varying exercises and practice drills throughout the morning until she is seemingly satisfied with her work. Once concluded, the exhausted woman begins her jog back to the Refuge.]

Most nights, when the congregation had departed for the day, an emaciated young woman would enter the Refuge with bucket, mop, and brush. She would begin scrubbing the walls and floors in the southwest corner and make her way all around the small cathedral. Extra care would be taken when she got near any of the statues. She would trim the wicks of the candles, sweep up the ash on the ground near the incense burners and conclude her duties by wiping down and polishing the pews as best she could. All in all, she would have done a fairly good job of keeping the church in ship shape. The only intiresting note would be the line on the walls where the poor woman simply couldn't reach.

After a particularly icky thing was carried in on the shoulders of one of Our Lady's anchorites, the little halfling took extra care to scrub out the trail of black ichor that was left behind. Initially she had left a clean streak through the carpet that lead down the main isle of the Refuge. After taking a step back and looking it over, she decided the entire carpet needed cleaning and spent the rest of the night, into the next day scrubbing

Near the end of the Year, BC 778,
Repeatedly, large deposits of beech wood planks, oak logs, and wooden crates are delivered to the Refuge of the Fifth Light. Attached is a note, indicating the wood is for Alan Hunter, and Ezra-followers.
