We have been receiving a large number of complaints lately from players feeling their experience lessened by other players excessively using words like "fuck" and similar obscene profanities. Even if many of these words may not be violating what could be considered authentic to the setting, it's much more often going to distract people from the immersion and experience rather than enhancing it. Therefore, we are going ask you all to refrain from using such words from now on, both in the game (OOC and IC) and on these forums. The words we ask you to avoid include the following list:
fuck (or any of its derivatives: fucking, fucker, motherfucker, etc.)
shit (or derivatives like shithead, dipshit, bullshit)
asshole
cunt
dick (or deriviatives such as "dickhead")
cock/cocksucker
any form of real life racial/ethnic slur
faggot/fag
douchebag (or simply "douche")
dildo
Find other ways to express this action, either by indirect emoting such as "*curses under his breath*" or "*curses profusely*" or "*spews obscenities at [PC name]*" or use creativity to IC cuss and slander without being vulgar.
We hope you can understand the reasoning behind this decision and will respect it. Thank you for your consideration,

Do NOT go:
F*ck, b***, ass*** d**che.
Rules on profanity ask you to indirectly emote it as stated above in the first examples, not to cut off letters so we still understand the word you said. It's still quite vulgar and unimmersive and goes against our rules of behaviour since the letter removal method is still very disruptive.

The same applies in-game and on the forums. Substitution letters and symbols such as "f**k" and "fvcking" and such are still profanity.

I recomend being creative, any dimwit can blather out a bunch of obsenities, try to put some thought into it. Example:
Spinless Cur!
Son of a motherless dog!
Egg Sucking Goblin Lover!
Not only does noone get offend OOC, personally I Laugh my butt off, but it adds to the enjoyment.... IMO. Try it, you might like it, and next time you are at work or amongst friend, fire one of these babies off and see who blows Coke out their nose :D

I know we all slip sometimes guys on words like 'shit', but please be mindful of keeping this without the words as those listed above this post.
We don't like to be policing this sort of stuff, so please help us all avoiding that from happening.

Just a little bump for ya'll both for the forum and in the game.
ICly - try to be more creative in your insults.
OOCly - you should never insult people so be chill poppas and mommas.
Oh, and uh - regardless how you might use a word or its meaning like "fag" or "nigga", just don't use it so you don't risk upsetting people. If it has a derogatory alternate meaning, you should not use it.

Bumping this, as have noticed many players including long term players using profane language.

It seems a reminder of the above rule is once more required.
Please make sure to watch your language and to act in a decent manner both in-game, on the forum and the Discord chat, else there will be consequences.
