We are now ready to commence testing
the new NWN:EE update (1.79).
As such, we ask all of you who have the game on
steam and have a free moment, to update your game to the new version and log on to our test server at
46.4.59.55:5124 at least once with each of your main characters, but it would be even better if you could also move about the server for a bit and test various elements so we can make sure everything is in order. Whatever happens on the test server won't affect the main server, so don't be afraid of taking a few chances.
You will notice that the test server is now also set up with
nwsync, meaning it will automatically handle downloads for you. The first time you connect, it will take a while for it to finish (it may even timeout a few times), but you will only have to do this once.
Please report any issues you find on our forums, adding a "(1.79)" to the topic title. Once you want to return to the old version, simply go to steam, right click "Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition", select "Properties", then "BETAs" and pick "old-stable".
Thank you in advance - on behalf of both us developers, but also the playerbase as a whole. It is absolutely critical for us to be able to provide a smooth transition that as many as possible help us test in this way.
