A more relieved Chomski is seen returning to his farm, packing up his mule as he does so often each morning nowadays, heading east with his older kid.

The garda are seen scouring the area nearby the Ostevik farmstead and around the city, reportedly hunting for an elven witch/thief who attacked Eval Ostevik on his farm. The fey witch was said to have had brown hair and worn a crown-like piece of jewelry on his head, but dressed in plain brown clothing. There seems to be a lot of stir with the authorities, considering he only made off with a few livestock.
A mermaid found a swimming lad,
Picked him up for her own,
Pressed her body to his body,
Laughed; and plunging down
Forgot in cruel happiness
That even lovers drown.

In the middle of the night, a woman in green armor seemed to be standing guard outside a shack in the middle of a field.  Hours later, a second woman emerged from the shack, covered in blood.  They then left heading west.

The farmstead of the Ene family has fallen into hard times as Claudiu Ene and his five sons tragically died over the recent winter period. He is survived by his widow, Maria Ene.

The fields at the farmstead have been left uncared for and nearby farmers speak in hushed tones of peculiar sounds drifting through the night, and food stores being raided by some manner of beast during the midnight hours.

A mysterious and silent man in full iron armor occasionally delivers small care packages of fresh food to the grieving widow, seeing to it that she does not starve.

A blond haired man, seemingly an Ezrite Anchorite by the green shade and numerous holy objects and markings present upon himself, could be occasionally seen in the farmlands of Vallaki, assisting the farmers in a hard-working endeavor to repair the recent damage inflicted upon the crops by the harsh snowstorm.

[The Ezrite would find that his efforts at helping these people slow if not impossible, he is turned away by many, most spouting distrust and of Borcan plots and general blasphemous things - some even blame him along with the other foreigners and madmen loitering outside the Grey City's walls for being directly responsible in this damage... those who do receive his help are still wary and suspicious of him, their hospitality chilly at best...]

[A large ruckus is made as farmers discover their barns have been broken into and robbed during the winter. Not only has all of their remaining food been stolen, but all of their stored seeds as well!

Eval Ostevik had spent a good hour outside leaning against the barn wall crying that morning.]

Rumor spreads about town of an apparent attack by "green and red demons" that had came from a cave somewhere in the foothills at the base of the Balinoks. Were it not for a guard patrol passing through at the time the strange beasties may have done more than just raid a few grain stores. The four patrolmen apparently slew or drove off at least two dozen of the things before retreating. It does not seem the creatures have returned to the fields but for the next few days serfs avoid the area...

Rumors of some kind of dark ritual swirl around the farmlands and chanting in a strange tongue is heard in the dead of night and the shy is briefly lit by a gout of flame. Any investigation reveals the centre stone of the stone circle near the beetle hive to be bloody and scorched.

Dead animals and peasants have increasingly been found in the farms and woodlands around Vallaki. All corpses have been found drained of blood and with a faint greenish tint to their flesh. Closer inspection has shown that not only has the blood been drained but many of the organs and muscles inside the corpses have been turned to a sort of dissolved goo.

The smell of blood is thick in the air of the Southeastern Farmlands of Vallaki. Several farmers have been slain as they toiled in the fields during midday. Crimson fluid soaks into the soil of the crops, and witnesses would speak of a hideous creatures of smaller size dressed in tattered clothing, striking the farmers with long, clawed hands, hissing and grumbling as it did so, before it returned to the woods...

In the dawn several farm animals and a wolf are found slain near the farms. Those who looked closely might notice there is not enough spilled blood on the ground around them. The farm animals have various colourful ribbons tied in neat bows around their necks, The wolf has blood smeared on its muzzle, its belly ripped open and innerds strewn about it. Written on a nearby wall in colourful chalk is the phrase "Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?"
