Gossip spreads among the locals of the Dravich residence being sealed off by the guard after a raid, and of two guardsmen posted there permanently on watch. Perhaps this is related to the foul stench smelled in the area of the house, and the strange habits of the house's inhabitants- Augstin Dravich, who has been seen coming and going at odd hours, and his mother Petra, who has not been seen in many weeks.
Courage is not the absence of fear, but having the ability to face it.

Gossip spreads amongst the peasantry about the local Stavich family; the once respected family of the good guard has been seen quite less often in the streets; some wonder what has happened to the once Lance Corporal, some gossip about the family's status, about how they will manage to survive the winter without a payroll. The Barovians mutter, give odd glances when they see them and return to their homes, fearing being associated with a shamed family.

More tragedy strikes the Stavich family, word goes that Igor Stavich Jr., the youngest son of the family has gone missing. The infant child had seen the day only a year ago, the devastating news comes at the worst times when Igor Stavich father is being held in Captivity for his crimes against Vallaki.

A few scraps of trash blow down the road near the Curiosities from Abroad shop...

A gust of wind turns a scrap over, revealing some strange letters.

It seems very much discarded, the char coal begining to run in the precipitation.

Word amongst the higher classes has spread that a newly arrived Physician from Darkon is in Vallaki offering alternative medical treatment than clerical remedies.

The Doctor has been seeing patients by referrals so far, as his patient list slowly grows with his reputation...

*Neighbours speak about the murder of wheat merchant Yuri Slabu, a prominent man in the trading route of Vallaki-Teufeldorf. Some even speak that perhaps he finally cheated a merchant too far, as he was found dead by his housekeeper in the early morning, his house ransacked fully of all valuables. Some even speak that Slabu wasn't even a true Barovian, but a Gundarakite lover, as some recall the certain characteristics his daughter has. And there was also his love for the pink cultists which disgusted most of his neighbours to the point of forbidding their daughters to speak to him. The guards posted on the district avoid discussing the case, but rumor has it that Slabu was found with some sort of Gundarakite compromising document...*

A concerned man is seen running threwout the district calling out the name 'Angelika', it was not long after that a report to the local Garda was made.
A woman is seen sobbing uncontrollably, pleading to individuals in the street if they've seen her daughter.

After the recent vanishing of a young Barovian girl named Angelika, another seems to have vanished, Family Olesk noted their servant Ivanovich did not return for his duties, after several days they sent another servant to the young man's house. His wife was a depiction of worry, clasping her baby tightly she was seen wailing to a local Garda...

Children have begun to disappear all around Vallaki. One such Corpse was recovered by the local Garda, drained and mutilated beyond any and all recognition. The Poor Child's eyes left in tact, frozen in its last moments of terror. The rest of its face clearly seemed to be removed... along with its entire bone Structure...

the Gruesome find spreads fear among the Grey City, the words "Vrolok" and "Vampire" whispered in every domicile and local tavern. the mourning cries of orphaned mothers can be heard in Old Night's Lament...

A pair of buildings in the Residential District were set aflame and ornamented with the impaled bodies of innocents by, allegedly, a "grey witch" known to most of the townsfolk of Vallaki as "Ana" or, more recently, as "Iadul's consort". The rumblings of discontent were strong amongst many of the peasants who witnessed the carnage, and the peasants quickly form a mob, speaking of hanging this foul sorceress high from a tree should they find her.

~A Garda Known around town as Private Lupescu was seen speaking with the Chirugeon Jusuf Hakiam , rumor has it the Young Garda went to the eccentric man's abode  to inquire about protective facewear to keep the rank and file soldier's of Vallaki's garda safe from the looming threat of the plague that report's have begin rolling in about. However given the uncertain nature of the affliction and how exactly it is spread the best advice that could be given was to keep one's distance from the infected and to use proper sanitary practice. Private Lupescu was seen leaving the man's office late in the evening, muttering in balok about outlanders, sickness and in general anyone who wasn't a good barovian~

A large party of garda, Ezrites and other Wayfarer outlanders was seen entering the residential district just before dawn; armed to the teeth. Some undead abominations attacked them outside a house at dawn; after defeating these the force entered the house and was not heard from or seen for several hours.

Shortly after three in the afternoon, the whole group was seen exiting the house at a run, screaming and yelling at people to dive for cover. An explosion then rocked the house, shattering windows in the whole district.

A series of screams tore through the late evening again from the fog shrouded house in the residential district. Once the home of Markus Diandru until he was stolen away by the horrible "Grey lady". Guarda lieutenant Eugeune Dimatrascu bravely guarded the house for hours while re-enforcement's were summoned. some while later after the sounds of combat the luetenant and his minions re-emerged and the terrifying sounds ceased. The air around it seemed to be at peace once again and the body of Marcus was delivered to his family for burial. The House is said to be for sale at a good price..
Current main characters, Fador Flint and Red Mika.

An elf in pointed hat and long dark coat, commonly known to be some sort of investigator for the Ezran congregation that frequents the old Von Zeklos ruins, has been seen prying around the house, peering in the windows, and listening late at night.

A young Barovian woman could be seen arriving at the home of Jusuf, Vallaki's chirurgeon, each and every day at the crack of dawn.  She'd spend at least a few hours at the residence daily, studying quietly or observing her teacher while he worked.

The grumblings of displaced noble and aspiring scholar can be heard in the streets and stores as he delivers letters, parcels and messages. He has also been inquiring as to any strange  individuals or events seen by the locals. An outsider himself, his polite requests are normally met with a closed door and a suspicious look. He is seen to be watching children at play as if searching for something. When night falls, however...he leaves the city for the more hospitable region beyond its gates.

Besides the mass murders and all other problems Vallaki already faces, a strange crime surprised the population. The most famous and luxurious boutique in the city was vandalized, someone broke in and wrecked the whole place. All the gold and several valuable objects were still there, the only thing reported as missing was the entire stock of small sized clothes, childrens clothes. On the wall, ballok word poorly writen with what seemed to be human feces: "Multumesc. S.". The only clue the criminal left behind was the unmistakable stench of sewer that impregnated the remaining clothes on the store.

An amusing sight greeted the people of the Residential District this day encouraged by Father Illie and Brother Miklos, the Sunkisser Light Carrier known as Lauel Martovich is seen one day giving a Sermon during the morning to mid-noon hours in the residential district on Compassion and Hope, as well as the ripple effect of aiding others.

The Sermon ended with Lauel offering a question/answer session only to have a dwarf outlander throw dung at her before running off laughing, with the nearby guards and noble/district peasants ignoring things.

One dressed in Morninglord garb could be seen coming during almost every night of the week to Houlsgraves Books & Rarities, and only leaving once day broke.

Hugh Houlgrave's Books and Rarities closes for the better part of a day, its night, and the following morning.

A pair of tired guards leave the establishment come the next day's sunrise.

An oddly garbed traveler has been noted visting Hugh Houlgrave's Books and Rarities daily as of late. The dust-coated man disappears into the shop, and loses long hours of the day pouring over the shopkeep's ample collection of tomes before emerging, ragged and worn as though he had spent the time engaged in fevered studies. Such fervor cannot be due to a simple love of literature, leading residents of the district more given to gossip to question what he possibly could be searching for.
