Rumours circulate that with the chances of the war getting closer and of raiding parties already getting close to the city, that the Boyar Guard has been looking for mercenaries to fight should the need for battle arise

Rumors speak of not less than twenty men being dispatched to aprehend Pitic Negnar; some say he resisted but quickly was subdued by no less than ten men...

people have shunned away from an awfully goric sight, slightly west from the church of morninglord, before the gallows where the placard warning criminals, stands a bloodied text decorated with a severed head of a deer poled on top of it. The orginal text has been completely ruined, seemingly with using blades. But the bloody text states..

DEATH TO THE BASTARD SON COUNT AND TO HIS LOYAL DOGS!

Upon seeing such sights the guard on duty has the sign taken down and later replaced by a brand new one.

Sightings of badgers and panthers are becoming more and more frequent, and one woman has been assaulted. Also, earliar, a guard was struck by lightning and was nearly killed.

An Elven man was seen to walk across some sort of crude trap just as he entered the building,  he stormed out injured but not dead.  He was heard to also threaten Zachea, should the Cult perform this deed again.

//Indeed. A good read and reminder.

Anyways, will re-post the guidelines for easier reference:

1) Do it with RP reason, of course.

2) Set the player on hostile.

3) Give at least 4 tiles between the trans. Door and the location where you lay the trap.

4) Set a ''placeable'' trap -before-  the actual traps; recommended having your PC sneaking and slide a tell over the player you are watching [DC: Search check] To determine wheter he spotted said placeable.

5) Use minor ''piss off'' trap before the 'big guns'' ones- I personally recommend ''tangle or negative''.

6) Select a location where you know some other PC that has nothing to do with it will not walk onto- new players for example.

7) When checking your target and this one logs, doesn't come or just if you get tired of waiting -disarm those traps- to prevent innocent PC's to step on 'em.

A man dressed in filthy robes, covered in dirt and mud, a shovel strapped to his back is often seen pushing along a wheel barrel, entering and exiting the crypts with bones and bodies piled high in that wheel barrel, taking trips behind the church into the graveyard. A symbol of the morninglord adorns his neck, muttering to himself in balok most of the way.

Renauld Bach, the infamous wandering monster hunter, is seen about the Church in the Outskirts lately. Wagging tongues assume he's in the area chasing some new quarry, but when asked he only responds "Nein, first I must be sure". He spends most of his time questioning travellers who've come through the Balinok mountains, and in Taverns asking people for stories about the "Bogey Dwarf of the Balinoks" that's become the gossip lately.

Father Zachea speaks in hushed tone of a large woman covered in tattered robes that walked in with two dead man on her shoulders, covered in sewage, she seemed strong and steady but extremely nervous as she approached inside, giving the coins to the priest from an old purse for their treatment and leaving as soon as possible, a guard on her heels. Before leaving she made sure they heard her say clearly in a soft and strong voice "This is your last chance". Outside she headed down the sewers as soon as possible, the same guard following her down there. A smaller man, covered in similar sewage tattered clothing followed her at the time.

Farmers to the north of the temple speak of hearing a strange almost desperate voice in the early hours of the morning. This voice seemed to carry from the old stone circle near the beetle lair. Afraid to investigate one farmer did here a few of the spoken words. Goddess..curse...Blood God.. holy ground were the only words he was able to make out. After day break the natives watched a dark clad woman stumble away bleeding profusley. One farmer snuck thru the woods to the circle and watched as several animals seemed to be gathered about the circle. The area seemed to hum with intangible power and the farmer quickly ran home. The natives have since avoided the area.

Hushed whispers spread about a dark haired man and a man with a large brimmed hat topped with a feather having a heated conversation about bears and human skinning.

Reunauld Bach is noticed to no longer be administrating the temple, and word is he has retired to bedrest for illness. He is replaced by a cheerful young woman named Lizuca, who claims to be the adopted daughter of Ilie. She is shadowed by a quiet and stern lightcarrier named Horatiu.

Whispers from the church tell of a man in silver armor wearing a odd goggle/mouth cover helmet helping to take the bodies of the deceased to the cemetery of the back the church. It's also said that faint sounds of crying can be heard if one is very quiet as the man passes through the door way to the cemetery.

The Lightcarriers find a dented and battered suit of full-plate Morninglordian Armor in front of the door to the church. Beside it lay the Robes of the Morninglord, neatly folded and seemingly undamaged by the tests of time or battle. The Morninglordians puzzle over the identity of the items' late owner.

Last night several graves from the cemetery behind the church in the western outskirts have been found dug open. Pieces of corpses laying around - a closer look reveals signs of biting and broken bones - and even more disturbing about eleven bodies gone missing...

A quiet native woman of no small stature seems to hang around the temple grounds periodically, even at night-time. Rumor says she sells armaments of pure silver for dirt cheap. Perhaps she harbors some deep vendetta against those who fear silver, or is just a very bad business woman.

The light carriers whisper quietly amongst themselves, particularly when their self-appointed defender Maryn is not around.

"Did you see her when she delivered the news of his death?  Thought she might die right here too. . . . and where was her bow?"

The other shakes his head.

"I heard she broke it in two. . . . reckless that one is. . .such a temper. . .  ."

His companion contemplates then murmurs back.

"You know, some people say she'll do -anything- to bring Father Celurion back. . . . -anything-."

At the disapproving stare of Lizuca, they quickly resume their duties.

---------

Later in the day, Maryn is seen in a serious whispered conversation with Horatiu.  Although almost all words are spoken too low to be heard by the general public, she breaks out in an outburst of, "Would that have been so terrible?!" After quickly regaining her composure, the priest sends her to pray, and the normally rebellious half-elf walks away compliantly to the back of the church to pray alone.
