Cannot write on signs anymore

Hello!

Since the update, we are unable to use the quill on player made signs and write on them using the @write title or @write commands.

Just a quick question, when you use a quill on the sign, what does it do? I ask because I'm able to write on player-made signs, however it does say in the log "You cannot write on this" as well as "Write target chosen. Use commands to start writing." If I use @write and @write title as usual, it still works. On my end it seems like this feature is working, it's just giving the wrong feedback in the log.

The feature did not work for me several times, and I am used to the wrong feedback showing up.

I can remember having inconsistent results when trying to label player made signs as far back as Diamond edition... and have always found it a little tricky.

I have now been encountering the same issue where despite targeting the sign, @write commands do not appear to edit the title or description. It *may* be related to how long the server's gone without a restart? I was able to write on signs just after the last restart, but haven't been able to since. This is probably unrelated but may be useful in debugging it. It applies to signs of all three sizes.

I am not sure it is reset related. But it it was working again. Sometimes leaving the area and coming back will show your work. I think a reset did fix the problem I was encountering, but I am not sure if it's still a problem.

I've found as soon as you write on a sign, you cannot edit said signs title, but you can edit the message
