EE Health recovery on rest.

I'm not sure what the math is but generally when resting, after eating and using a bedroll, a significant portion of hp is generally restored. On my NCE EE pally, eating and resting at a bedroll restored a 5 out of 26 missing hit points. I could be mistaken, but I thought the combination of the two provided more return

I believe your CON modifier plays a role in this as well, which may be what is causing a discrepancy between what you're used to and what you're getting.

Of course, if your CON is the same as or higher than normal then this isn't the case. Just a thought though.

How much Constitution did you have, what level was the character and how much HP did he have?

10 CON, Level 4, 40 hp, was missing 26. 5 recovered, using food and bedroll.

Yeah, numbers match. It works as intended. Your 10 Con is why you don't regain much HP.
