A way for DMs to create NPCs without having to update mod

I don't know if DMs currently have anything similar to this, so here goes...

I just remembered a mechanic that was used on another server I played on.  It allowed the DMs to create custom NPCs without having to wait for the module to be updated.  Requires a bit of work, but it is quicker then waiting for an update. 

Basically it requires two DMs to complete. or a DM with two accounts/computers

Step 1: DM creates a player account, creates character as any other player would do.  Second DM provides said character with levels and gear as needed for the intended purposes. 

Step 2: Second DM uses "Clone Character Tool" which is a fairly common script from what I understand.  (it was used for a Doppelganger plot line on my previous server) Basically clones the character into an NPC that can be possessed by DMs

Step 3: Log off player account and log back in as DM and bam you have your custom made on the fly NPC

We have a more advanced system in place, iirc.

Yeah. We can already create custom NPCs on the fly, even generate them randomly.
