offers a variety of arms, armor, and other travelling supplies for the intrepid.
All merchandise is crafted or gotten by the sole proprietor, Rurik Kasparkov.

All composite bows are fashioned from Cobweb Palm, a wood harvested from the desert lands of Har’akir.
The properties of this material lend the weapon superior strength and accuracy.
The tensile load of any bow made from Cobweb Palm is roughly fifty pounds, allowing arrows to punch clean through steel armor.
Nocks hewn from horn grant each bow advantages against a variety of opponents.

DEMON HORN
Best used for piercing the skin of wererats.
LONG: 1000
SHORT: 800

DEVIL HORN
Used for piercing the skin of werewolves. Also useful against the majority of undead.
This is the most versatile bow available.
LONG: 1800
SHORT: 1600

CARRION HOUND BACKBONE
Extremely effective against all manner of undead.
LONG: 1600
SHORT: 1400

DESERT DEER HORN
Increases the tensile load of the bow to fifty-five pounds. Best-suited for those who can enchant their own weapon.

SHORT: 800

CROSSBOWS
Basic crossbows and shields ca be crafted on request.
A heavy beech crossbow with a steel lath runs 600 coins, whilst its lighter brother will cost 400 coins.

SHIELDS
Shields will be fashioned from oak or thick chitin and boast folded steel bracing.
A tower shield will cost 400 coins, and a large shield will cost 200 coins.

Leather and chitin work is done using the highest-quality materials available.
For lighter suits of armor, hide from the skin of stone-birds is used to create a material that matches steel in its toughness.
Heavier armor is fashioned from the carapace of large and fearsome insects from abroad.

SHADOW LION LINING
This lining is typically used in lighter armors, as its inherent properties assist the intrepid sneak in his endeavours.
STUDDED LEATHER JERKIN: 2400
(Not recommended: the noise and shine from the studs overwhelms the boons of the lining).

PADDED DOUBLET: 1600

SILKEN LINING
Suitable for businessmen and for performance artists who want to guard themselves from rotten fruit being flung. Quite attractive.

ANCIENT DIRE CROCODILE LINING
This is a superior lining which enhances the sturdiness of the armor further, and affords the wearer an air of menace.

I have managed to craft a bow most effective against the vilest progeny of the Legion.
Made from the backbone of a carrion hound, this bow is able to pierce through apparitions, bones, and dead flesh as would a knife through butter.

I am looking for an associate to operate the Merry Bear Merchandise stall on a day-to-day basis.
Experience and competence in mercantile operations is REQUIRED.
An enthusiastic, honest person who can challenge themselves in order to meet targets is best-suited for this role.
Must be able to operate the stall at BUSY TIMES OF DAY.

Pay is generous and will be discussed upon meeting.

COURIER

For the distribution of advertising material on a regular basis.
Must be literate and able to scribe copies of flyers, and must be glad to travel long distances.
A distribution map will be provided and parchment costs covered.
Pay is 2000 coins a week.
