Suggestions for next hak update [Unofficial]

Hello all!

Following some discussion on Discord earlier, here are some suggestions for additions for whenever the next hak update occurs.

Feel free to post more!

Eurgigas Robe-Based Armors -> Posted here before, but these armours are lovely.

VFX Circlets and Glasses -> Glasses would be a great addition, and as they are VFX, bespectacled characters wouldn't be restricted to a head model.

TheBarbarian NWN Heads -> This updates the default heads with high-quality variants, and also includes many high-quality custom heads for all sorts of races. My only concern is that some of the 'older' heads are replaced with younger ones, so if there was a way to leave those unchanged, this could be a great quality of life addition.

Only a small number, but half-orc heads for women need an update so I am showing some examples here :P

Yes please!  They look fantastic, would love to see them included.  We're a silly bunch for loving out little cosmetic changes but they really do breathe fresh life into things each time they are added.

I love those masks! It could make for much better rp than the hood which is most commonly used

Are there any neck slot masks, so the mask won't conflict with the head model? Where are the male head variants, do they use beards or no bears? Is it generic male head 1 that is used as a base?

We all know nothing NOTHING will EVER replace the black hood/mask :P you cant beat the classics  :lol:

i think that except for the pic saying helmet masks the rest of the pictures in that post are visual effects projected on the character head.

That's true, but, it works fine for hats. It would probably work fine for a scarf-like thing to cover the lower half of the face as long as you bulked the scarf out a bit to deal with clipping. I'd like to see how it would look with half-masks. Full masks are probably not an issue at all because you can't even see the face it's covering.

If this gets added, I'm totally going to make a character inspired by the highway man series. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, RA Salvatore has done more then write ten million books about Drizzt, or what ever his name is.

We're thinking of adding a few new animations. Right now we are looking into adding two musical ones (playing a guitar/lute and a pan pipe), a pushing one and push ups (for guards).

Any ideas/suggestions?

A drum holdable and playable. Great for military and lots of pcs that want a more tribal instrument

If you know where to get an animation like that, please go ahead and post it here. We aren't making our own custom animation, so anything new animation side has to be something already available.


Edit: Actually... I was told that Soren the mighty is able to make them, but I still suggest proposing stuff that already exist because its less time consuming.

Reposting what was suggested in discord. Could some consideration be given to increasing the cast range on open/close? I like to use it in Stealth rp as a distraction but it's short cast range means I have to be nearly be on top of the door to use it kinda defeating the purpose.

If you can walk at the same time it's a phenotype, not an animation. In most cases those are wonky and don't support all other phenotypes (ie: large, old) nor all robes.

I'm really impressed that you added Har'Akir to the module as a domain, since I feel Egyptian style realms aren't the easiest thing to implement using the tile set, I haven't been to Har'Akir yet so please forgive me if this is already included, but a quick search brought this tile set up.

Some new clothing options for Har'Akir characters would be useful as I made a Har'Akir character and I struggled a little to get the clothing created.
