Of late the Gundarakite population of the Grey City has been subdued, sullen, their minds fresh with the memory of fallen Zeidenburg, their ears ringing with the screams of the fallen, their noses choked with the ashes of the lost. But a new whisper begins to run from ear to ear, always in Luktar, always in a whisper as faint but as real as the hope it bears: She lives. Await her.

And in the dock quarters of Vallaki, a new rumor: those who would see justice be done for Gundarak-that-was, they might ask the man in green amongst the sleeping gypsies what can be done to redeem her great fall and purchase her life anew.
