Resting question. Possible bug?
« on: March 04, 2017, 01:47:07 PM »
Greetings.

I am currently exploring role play with Mithos Porter. I seem to be unable to rest since the last time I went into the crypts. I am unsure if this is a bug and or a status placed on my character by an event I am not aware off. If someone could perhaps shed some light on this, that would be great. I like RP but I also like XP and have a concern that I am losing XP due to this effect and or bug. I also dont know how often the server saves character progression.. or da da da dummmm! If I have been fed on by a vrolock!  If its a bug any chance or some pity xp :P

Issue: Cant rest
Attempted fixs: Relog, rest in temple, rest in inn..

Thanks in advance.

What messages appear in your combat log when you try to rest? or is the rest icon greyed out as if in combat?

yes check your log. usualy you cannot rest if ennemies are around and also after a rest you cannot rest again for two in game hours. This information can be seen in the log. If it is not this then it might be a bug indeed.

The icon is not greyed out. It does not give me I am in combat text. I currently am on a cargo quest... and had a blackout in the crypts. I am leaning toward bug at this point. I even logged waited awhile and logged back in. I will try and complete the quest to reduce variables.. but its been like this all day.. so who knows.

so, to put this in order. you were knocked below 0 hp, but did not die (end up in the near ethereal), and upon picking up your items and leaving the crypts, could no longer rest?

can you post a screenshot of what happens when you try to rest?

If this happens, then let someone "subdual" you (this mode is 'softcore pvp' without actually killing eachother). But the other player can knock you unconscious, or below 0hp and then heal you up. And the bug will mostlikely be fixed by this.

Happened to a guy in our crypts party and this fixed it for him.
