[Dvergheim - of Dwarves & Dragons]
ILLY6666:
--- Quote ---For any who would spend time at Dvergheim would over the last week see a rather unusual sight.
A draconic woman began arriving daily to the Halls after the rumored allowance by the Kingsguard Vorag Thorgrimsson.
Any who would have sought to stop her would have witnessed the stone tablet which decreed that she was a guest within the halls.
But this was not the most peculiar of all.
Claiming she was there to learn the dwarven methods of smithy, she within this mere week mastered steel in all its forms.
Her first tribute came as more than a hundred copper ingots, gifted to the Kingsguard.
The second; fourteen steel armors with worg fur lining.
The third; three armors with troll-skin lining.
But this latest gift, said to be the last in some time, provided whole nineteen steel armors with ancient dire bear lining.
Several boxes that amounted to more than ninety steel ingots.
And a personal gift to Vorag Thorgrimsson; a steel armor lined with ancient dire crocodile hide,
a lining unattainable in Barovia and putting the armor count to twenty.
She is Selyth, Matron of the Auvrea'arnith.
In the letter to the Kingsguard, Inquisitor Lupinus "Black Wolf" Linus, Faithul of Aroden,
Auvrea'rnith is accredited with just as major a part in these tributes and gifts.
So it was, that these two individuals brought prosperity to the Dwarve Halls.
Witnessed by many but an unlikely story to most.

Edit: OOC: Feel free to write the reactions of those who spend time at Dvergehim or think would have overheard this tale.
ethinos:
Torgan Ironshield, a long time resident and master smith of Dvergeheim, has been noticeably avoiding the draconic woman when he can. He refuses to use the smithy when she's around and won't mine anytime that she is nearby. During his frequent and sometimes lengthy visits to Althjof's bar, he often speaks his mind to fellow miners willing to listen that Moloch was wrong to let in the wyrm-blooded freak. That the drakespawn will turn on them eventually and show her true colors. After all, when has dealing with dragonkind ever been a good thing? However, with a grim look on his face, he vows to keep an eye on her and will defend Dvergeheim and his fellow dwarves if the time comes. She may be a guest of the hold but that doesn't mean she was to be trusted and liked by its residents.
ILLY6666:
--- Quote ---Recently, the one known as Matron Selyth of Clan Auvrea'arnith,
Friend of Dvergheim and the Dwarven people as decreed by King Moloch,
has returned to the home of dwarves and is seen toiling away at the forges.
While some seem to mostly ignore the dragonfiend, others mutter discontentedly about her presence.
Questioning why such a monstrosity should even be allowed in their sacred halls.

ILLY6666:
--- Quote ---A few days or so have passed and yet the dragonfiend remains toiling away at the gilding tub,
as rumours say she has spent a dragon's hoard on mercury.
Some who make more precise claims speak of tens of thousands,
others speak of fifty thousand and some even claim its nearing a hundred thousand fangs.
--- End quote ---
ILLY6666:
--- Quote ---More days pass and the dragonfiend's activity never ceases, as if she was driven and possessed,
toiling at the smelters, anvils and gilding tubs alike for what was several days now.
Aside from Dvergheim she supposedly has roamed the southern forest in hunt of lumber.
As of now, whispers of another so called donation is heard,
close in timing as more rumours speak of her having forged twenty silvered dwarven axes or more.
Those who argue that she has to sleep sometimes speculate as to her whereabouts,
while some claim she returns to her demonic realm, more realistically,
others speak of a lair in the very same mountains as the halls.
