The Scout's Journey
« on: March 29, 2016, 10:24:25 PM »
Born to a pair of outlander Moon Elves, Lomith was born and raised in Degannwy. Having spent most of her time around Vallaki, she inevitably learned Balok, as well as Common, and her native tongue. While she shares many of the customs of the locals, she remains far less superstitious. Down to earth, she makes her living as a scout and a hunter, reporting any possible threats, and dealing with them as she sees fit. On her journey, she encountered a group of orphans, to whom she has taken a liking to.

((In advance, any descriptions of characters are simply Lomith's views, and OOCly, there is no intended insult))
Nat, a human carpet who wears no shirt. Mel, a human woman with a sense of humor and a talent for "sparkles." Dex, another human with a more practical sense of life. Vit, yet another human, this one strong-armed, generally a hit and point type of person. Then there's Ciel, a Sithican Elf who also has a knack for magic. These are the companions Lomith has travelled with as of late, they say they are fresh out of the Orphanage, making their own way in life. As she travels with them, Lomith is also learning how to work wood and chitin into shields and bows.

During an expidition to the local hobgoblin caves, the group brought along a human female named Celia, and a man who's name went unmentioned. During the battle with the chieftain and his forces, Celia found the gore of the battlefield too much to handle and fell ill. The male did little to help the matter with his uneeded descriptions. Luckily Mel was able to calm down. After selling the loot and divinding the gold, Lomith went for a hunt to gather deer pelts, and mainly to get some time away from the humans.

Over the next few days, Lomith would become faster, and better at the art of hiding in the shadows, until one day, a grave omen appeared before the gates of Vallaki... Six Barovian commoners, impaled in a Falkovian fashion, hoisted on spikes, with a warning. These six were accused of treason for speaking against the countess. Under orders of the Marquessa; Lorelei, Lomith relocated the corpses to where they would not attract the beasts of the night. That's when the true trouble began.
