Question Regarding multi-class half-elf

Does anyone know about the xp penalty thing? I am unsure whether or not there is an xp penalty in potm or not.  If so is it just if you multi-class multiple times such as ranger/rogue/fighter  or is there a penalty regardless?

There is only a exp penalty via race if you do not multiclass or select your race's favored class. Since Half-elfs is any your golden no matter how many multi classes you do. but say you did a elf fighter rogue. Your going to take a little bit longer to level then a Elf wizard.

How to explain it.... On a old server I can see how much exp I got and if the tipical mob gave me 100 exp as a elf wizard but if I went elf fighter instead I think it was between 70-80 exp instead.

Basically for every class that you have that's not within 1 level of your highest class you get a 20% EXP penalty. However, your favored class does not count towards determining this. This link should clear it up for you:

Also, somewhat related so I'll ask it here rather than starting a new thread: does POTM have the correct favored classes for the various subraces (for example, most wood elves usually have ranger as a favored class) or is it always the default for whatever your base race is?

Elfs favorite class is Wizard... Halflings is rogue. Dwarf is fighter, half-orc is barbarian. Humans and half-elfs are any. Gnomes.. umm.... wizard as well I think?

Right, so you're stuck with the default favored class even if it's not technically the favored class your subrace would have then. I kinda figured that was the case.

Yyyup.. but since we do not see how much exp we get what does it really matter? lol
