If you're playing from a different IP address than the one that you were on when you created your character then you need to enter the password you chose on character creation before you can move around.
It was the one you chose when you tried to leave the New Character room through the mist bank and it prompted you to use @setpass. I don't remember for sure what the login command is, but I'd think it's @login whateveryourpasswordis. If that doesn't work try typing @setpass and in the combat log will be a message that should tell you different commands for the password and login functions.
Even if you're on the same IP address as the one you used to create the character try using this anyway. If you enter your password and you're still stuck then you'll probably need a DM. You can also try @debug or @seatme if the above doesn't work.
