///This is for an event set for Thursday, July 16. The event will more or less be day long, and begin when there are enough characters in Degannwy, to accommodate players of all time zones. ///

Spreading word of an event to come, a moon elf with a false name drifts from tavern to bar to gathering place, falling upon any and all elves he sees. Wearing a mask of porcelain white, cast in a chesshire smile, a wave of his hand and a flick of his fingers makes the smile twist wider into a grin with the groan of plastic and wood warping and twisting. He recites these words at each meeting:

Come nearer, come hither, come now brother and I shall tell you of a rumor meant only for the ears of kin. Imagine for a moment, if you will, a place, a time, meant only for the celebration of our fair kind. There we shall feast and drink, and we shall come with trinkets and treasures small and borrowed, gifts lavish in grandeur, or meager in offering, earned or procured, to place with some discretion in the possession of others as we twist and we turn when the spiral dance begins. We place gifts upon one another, without them ever knowing, to leave behind a lasting mystery. The magic of the inquiry, “from who, for what, and why?” As they ponder, never knowing.

A day for us alone, a single day in which we revel in like the old ways, and the traditions of elvenkind. Watch the spectacle rise until all you can do is hold your breath and wait, the suspense leads the elegant enchanted eyes, for more than them will you be willing to spend for the night of your life. All day long, beyond the gifts we wait to see, if you come plain or in masquerade. Tricks we shall expect to see, a game of mischief awaits, so bring your best turn of the hand, that we may crown our prankster king and bring much needed smiles. Join us inside, in Degannwy we will wait, come one, come all, come on that night.
