Chairs in the Bar

The chairs. In (I think) The Lady's Rest? The bar right outside Vallaki.

The pathfinding makes it -extremely hard- to use them. Is there a way to fix this? Pretty sure I spent twenty minutes the other night trying to sit.

There is indeed a fine art to using them, that with a little experimenting becomes easier. some adjustments wouldn't go unwelcome for sure.

The command @findseat is the solution to all your woes. It automatically gets you to the nearest chair.

Yeah, but not always your desired chair (if companions are sitting at a table) and it doesn't always seat you. I've had just as many problems using @findseat as I have clicking to sit. What you got to do is get up on the side of the chair manually and then attempt to sit down.

And by "position yourself beside the chair" I mean literally position yourself hip-to-armrest.

I try. But even then it doesn't work, or it's a pain right in the butt to even get there.

Hmm, I've never had that much trouble with the Lady's Rest chairs except when having high lag. Is your connection all right?

I will make some tests there but it always worked flawlessly for me in the Lady's Rest.

It would be easier to fix them if you provide some screenshots of the chairs that are causing a problem.

2 Pick up

If you pick up, puts a heavy chair into your inventory and you can place it down anywhere.

Works great for those times you have 5 people and only 4 chairs at the table.

In most cases if you stand directly behind or beside it, you will sit down. They are a bit tricky to get into sometimes, but the problem is, if you move them too far back, then you can't get around them at all.
