Denizens of the Noble District in Vallaki and commoner alike remember the year 759 as the infamous one that brought the Dark Fey group of murderers known as the Korali. The outlander known as "Drow" were categorized as a breed of fey particularly infamous and murderous, distinguishing them from the paler pointed ear fey. It is during that year that Blue blood influence brought the guard to place numerous men to maintain security in the establishment which was frequently robbed and more than once, slaughtered by the Korali. It is said bounty hunters finally brought an end to their reign of chaos over the city, leaving many orphans, widows and widowers alike.
