A woman arrives to the village angry and mumbling about some confrontation at the nymph and how vallaki has too many "hero's", She proceeded to get drunk at the blood o' the vine and decided to move to the village in hopes of new adventures and a better life.

Rumor has it that a woman that was caught trying to break in the quartermaster's was arrested, then, as a punishment, recruited into the garda.

Three outlanders, a blonde male, a dark haired female and a Borcan woman bearing vistana heritage were scourged in the village center the previous night as warning to any who would defy the Count's laws. The usual death sentance was waivered and 30 lashes given to each, the punishment given as a sign of the Burgomistress' "benevolence" and "mercy". Their apparent crime that of graverobbing.

However the Falkovnian was quoted in saying "If it bleeds, We can kill it"

Rumor reaches far and wide around the village of barovia of the sunkisser light carrier known as Warn Windwill being dragged into the village temple area barely conscious and rambling about fearsome undead. Many locals avoid the ravings of the carrier as he is taken into the temple proper. There the Vicar finds him feverish and delirious, his very body's spirit drained and some would comment it is amazing he is alive at all. Unable to aide the light carrier whom had just the day before delivered quite the bundle of food stuffs and wood to the impoverished people of the village messages are sent out for aide from the other faithful.

Tragedy strikes the village, Ruxandra Korolev who was wife to the woodsman Alexandru Korolev is said to have been found dead. How she was killed is a mystry, but her death seems to weigh heavy upon Alexandru who has been spending a fair amount of time drinking at the Blood of the vine inn.

The villagers talk about how in this deep winter, the wolves howls seem to be closer then normal, and how they are more actively attacking the animals that live in the village...

Word would spread that four Ezrites were flogged in the village, including the Vallaki Sentire, and an effigy Ezra burned in a deliberate, blasphemous offense.

Further to this, the Burgomistress pronounced an edict banning the public worship of Ezra and forbidding any Ezrite clergy in the village.

Two new faces are seen around the village as of the past few days. Sunkisser Light carriers introduced as Warn Windwill and Adeline Windwill, seeming husband and wife to be of the cultists are seen about the village in the daylight hours harvesting wood, herbs, and such for the village and the faithful.

Warn in particular is seen chopping down several trees a few days later making rounds to the various houses that will accept his knocking during the daytime with deliveries of chopped oak, yew, and beech ready for fires.

It is also rumored by the Vicar and Warn spoke about having a fall harvest celebration one day with well crafted food for any that are of interest.

OOC: the last bit is still to be decided on when exactly...

Rumor has it that the Temple of The Morninglord will donate food and warm clothing in the days to come. Although the specific time and date is not known, it is certain that it will be done.

A sole survivor recounts how a light carrier, also known as Adeline Windwill, led a pack of werewolves into the sanctuary courtyard. The werewolves, after killing her, managed to kill almost everyone, including the lightcarriers.

Early in the day the ezrite ambasador known as popovici was seen beeing escorted by the gaurd vetran mandruleanu towards the burgomistress's mansion.
What the commoners stared more at was the large suitcase the ezrite was carrying.
Not long after the ezrite got escorted back out of the village the guards among themselves began to hope that the double shifts would stop now that there was suddenly allot more money to spend, the boards where also taken down from the ezrite shrine.

Intense golden light burst forth from the cracks of the Morninglord temple, warding those of evil disposition from its sheer holy power.  Soon, it would fade, leaving the Village as dark as it was before.

Word spreads among the villagers of a strange visitor of apparent Vistani stock.  The woman, dressed in gold, introduced herself as Camilla and has been soliciting the villagers for herbs for her sick daughter. The woman has a wild, desperate look in her eyes and wasn't wearing any shoes.  Oddly enough, no one has seen the daughter.

In the late hours of the night, long before the first reluctant stirrings of the Village of Barovia; a woman was led by the hand out onto the Old Svalich Road, clotted eye sockets staring out blindly to the world.

What savage treatment did the self proclaimed Reformist suffer? What ever terrible manner of men or creatures that committed this horrendous act leave another dark shadow lingering over the trade route for a time to come.

The Blood of the Vine Waitress, Eliza Chirila was seen heading up to the Castle today at nightfall and returning at dawn, pale and shaken.
She immediately packed her things and is rumored to be returning to Vallaki for a holiday.

As the sun sets in the village, several gruesome discoveries were made.

One of a Barovian man, clawed and bitten by something with sharp claws and teeth. He was found by the warehouse in a pool of his own blood.

The other is of a Barovian woman, a bloody trail leaded two where her body laid. It was mangled. Her head was removed and blood was all over the walls where her body lie. Something ripped open her abdomen exposing entrails. She looked to be partly eaten by something.  A witness describe seeing the killer as something that was there then disappeared. Next thing the body was being dragged off, the witness didn't wish to pursue for fear of his own life.

Rumor has it that there was a large massacre of live stock in the western outskirts of the village.
That something has been trying to dig up the graves. Hands and feet at times can be seen sticking out of the graves.
Another woman was found dead in the streets. Her face partly eaten and she is covered in claw and bite marks.

Also there has been rumors of a heavy odor of decay hanging around the village.

Rumors spread about something digging up the corpses in the graveyard. That the parts of the corpses have been exposed and something has been feasting on the rotting remains.

Also some of the local village guard seem to be falling ill. They seem to have a strong cough and often times cough up black slime. A few of the guards are starting to have pockets of black swellings on their bodies that is filled with a white ooze puss.

During the dawn, a small fey entered the village, carrying what seemed to be a very large maul.
After resting at the inn for some time, she started wandering the streets, bandaging and offering food to anyone in need.
