Several reports pile up on the desk of the Village guards.

one states that recruit Ioana Petrescu has gone missing, other guards state that she was not feeling and looking well.

another has names of sick villagers and sick livestock which increases by the week as more and more reports of the unknown desease find the desk.

the last pile contains the names of missing or killed guards of recent times.

The Village Guard has issued an order to burn all bodies animals and human untill the plague is cured.

More of the citizens and guards are becoming sick with a cough. Even more start develop swellings of black lymph nodes and glands filled puss.  A few are coughing up blood and their skin is turning black. Many have died from the disease and the amount of deaths start to increase rapidly. The healers are at a loss trying to find a cure. No magic or known remedy seems to work. Some of the healers also have caught the disease.

A black goo can be found in and around the village. It stinks of rot and decay.

Also reports keep coming in about something digging up the graves in the cemetery or dragging corpses from the crypts. From the rumors it is said that it looks like something is eating the remains of the dead. It is also stated that the corpses and body parts are littering the cemetery. It is gotten so bad that rumors of stray dogs can be seen in the streets carrying human remains. Even though the cemetery gets cleaned it seems to be a never ending battle.

Rumor has it that something has been taking the dead from the plague and eating them before the authorities has time to clean them up. The dead seem to be piling up fast making it extremely difficult for the village to take care of. Also more people are starting to show shines of blacken swollen lymph nodes.

Word quickly spreads like wildfire throughout the village, and even reaching Vallaki, that Sergeant Petkovich has fallen ill. rumors circumvent that the beloved Sergeant has contracted the rumored  plague while investigating the epidemic. Guards are stationed on the first floor of the Burgomistress's guesthouse. The second floor is quarantined off, where it is presumed the late Petkovich resides...

The plague is having a heavy toll on the village. More people are dying than the authorities can clean up. Eaten corpses of plague victims litter the village. Animals and livestock are dying. The village seems to be facing the worse of the the disaster. Labor is becoming short in the village as more people are dying and less people are surviving to take care of the problem.

The small elf, with the help of lightcarriers from the Morninglordian Temple, improvised a hospital in the old abandoned house. With the lightcarriers protection, the small elven woman started her relentless work, forgetting even to rest, trying to ease the suffering of the plagued. Yet her search for a way to cure the disease is met with failure, as she watches more and more people die.

Hearing the screams, a tiny woman rushes inside the burgomistress guest house, to find a dead guard and a sick man. She struggled to carry the man to the hospice and care for his wounds.

During the night the horrid stench of burning flesh could be noticed as a pyre was erected and several bodies were burned.

The sick in the makeshift hospice in the village have been relocated to the sun cultist's compound with the assistance of several people, among them a halfling woman, a knight and a dark-clad man as well as a Lightcarrier of the cult.

Rumors have it that after a group of three people, two men and a woman possibly of fey origin, were seen heading for the village graveyard. Several hours later, one of the men was carried to the Morninglord hospice which he has not left since.

Word spreads like wildfire through the village that an Outlander Priest named Shy'Nar has found the cure for the plague. He is seen working tirelessly to brew more and more poultices to cure those who still have a chance......

A small, makeshift caravan passed through the village gates carrying fresh food and clean water in from distant lands.

the cure is said to have been rushed to the Morninglord hospice in the village. Sergeant Petkovich being the first among the sickened patients to receive the unproven Elixir... there is some relief as the sick men and women are given a chance to once again hope. however, a full recovery will take time, and has yet to be seen...

Rumor states that the infectious ghoul was killed. That its body was put outside the village to be burned. But it seems that the body went missing.

An old black woman of fat constitution is now seen waddling around the village, looking for information about the plague and the ghoul. She seems kind and gentle, but there is something of creepy and wrong about her. People are saying that she now is living into an abandoned house at the northeast part of the village where some go there looking for ways of enduring the plague. Rumors spread that her means are unorthodox but effective. She offers no cure yet, but seems able to give some relief against the worse effects of the blight.

Rumor has it that a group of adventurers went into the old abandon well at the end of the town. Some say they have returned. Rumors claimed they were constantly harassed by some undead creature while in the well.

Amongst the group that were seeking for the ghoul there was the immense black woman that now lives in the abandoned hospice. People say that she is insane and that she kept trying to talk with the dreadful creature.

days pass as Sergeant Petkovich steps outside the infirmary for the first time in four days. locals take notice of his improving health, the "cure" being the topic of much debate among the patrons. strangely not everyone has made such a recovery to the elixir, but Petar's recovery brings some small measure of hope to the disease ravaged Village....

Lately some bodies have been found of some would be ghoul hunters. They look to be eaten by the creature they were seeking to kill.

A rather large sack was found outside the merchant's store. It was filled with items. Black goo covered the sack and items. A message was carved into the sign in Balok reading "Here is your varja, iadual Outlanders"

Food that was left for aiding the poor and many corpse remains left by the ghoul were seen in an unusal advanced stage of decay... maggots, rats and the like festering upon them. It is like as if artificial means were used in order to reach such ends.

People is commenting that the insane black woman that kept trying to talk with the ghoul was finally attacked by the creature. Some say that she was devoured alive and that there was a young woman crying about it on the streets. Others say that actually she has survived and just waddled away from the village with the young woman trying to convince her to walk back and receive treatment at the Hospice.

Whatever the truth is, she wasn't seen since the incident.

the guards have said to kill her on sight as she is now seen as a deliberate plague carrier, no bounty will be given other then the satisfaction knowing you stopped the plague from spreading even more.

Many sheeps were slaughtered in the outskirts. Signs show that they were cut with some sort of big blade by a strong wielder. Most of them were took away although, the few left behind show an advanced stage of decomposition.

One could say that a foul ritual had took place in the area as it is noticeable the aura of negative energy that comes from it. There are some blood droppings here and there but most of them were washed away by the falling rain.

A couple of villagers also comment of having seen through their windows a skeleton dropping dead rotting sheeps around the town during the late night in the middle of the rain. But they are not sure of it as the rain was strong and the night really dark.

People are commenting of seeing the ghost of a big old lady wandering through the streets of the Village at late night, as if she were mourning about her fate.

... after an elf Paladin and a man dressed in dark garments paid the local Morninglord priest to bring the Old Mamere back to life, the ghost stopped appearing to the relief of the locals.

But soon it was discovered that the old Lucia was infected by the plague, her veins appearing dark from under her skin. She was taken to the Hospice and tied from tip to toe by them.
