During a recent sermon by a visiting Inquistor Rowley (sp?) Templar Bolson was seen at one point to silently get up from the sermon and leave shutting the door behind him in front of all present, those few that looked would see that his face held back a angered look.

In the early first morning hours after sun rise a small diminutive man wearing black and green colored clothes with a similar hood is seen carrying the badly injured body of Bolson into the church. When the Toret asked about what happened the man replies. "We were up fighting some undead. They were overwhelming us and my companions. He told us to run and he would hold them off. If it wasnt for him we would be dead. We tried rousing him but he wont wake up." The man said then left citing he needed to get other things done.

Examination of Bolson would show he is in some catatonic state probably from some horrible sight he saw that his mind couldnt take.

Inquisitor Vertias is noted taking time to study the pressure points of the body with a Falkovnian man in private in the church.  Their lessons continue for extended periods, and the Inquisitor walks away from them with extensive notes.

Templar Bolson Caraway is seen more and more lately around the Church often in prayer and also often disciplining himself on various studies and matters. He speaks at times with the Toret quietly on one or two matters from a prayer book. Other times he simply prays for several hours on some matter. His complexion is sadden and quiet but he still gives a warm smile to any that approach him.

He is also seen cleaning and straightening up the Church at times where needed and helping out at he various sermons as well. Upon one evening of being asked after one of the sermons by the Toret of where he has been for the past many weeks he replies. "...Family life seems not well suited for me trouble with it is what brings me back here now...after all there wasnt much i coulda done." He then gives a weak smile at the worried look. "...do not worry for me Toret I am fine and shall always be till Ezra takes me into her final embrace."

He also leaves a small letter near Nell's things.

Warden if we could speak at some point I would appreciate it.

During the days of the rampaging mob of peasantry, smoke cointinues to rise periodacly from the direction of the cathedral.  Word spreads that upon the first passing of the mob that effigys of the anchorites, in their green robes, were set to fire, as rocks and torches bombarded the cathedral front, shattering through the stained glass windows, setting fire to parts of the cathedral within.

The statue of Ezra, that has stood since the construction of the cathedral just a few years ago, was burned, reduced to a pile of smouldering stone; strange fragments of limbs and parts.

It is said that before the mob resumes each morning for their "Liberation," that the debree and rubble from the night's destruction is cleaned to some extent.

The large window frames, that had once through stained glass told the story of Ezra and her gathered anchorites, have been boarded up solid.

Over the past few days, the Cathedral in the Nobles' District seems more akin to a warehouse than a temple. The grass has been trampled so many times it's mostly mud by the side-entrnace. Several planks and boards are seen about, as well as blackish stains that from the coal that has slipped out of a torn bag. Workers and anchorites are seen lugging and transporting in wheelbarrows bags full of iron ore.

Some of the neighbors, Barovian nobles who'se glory has faded, their coffers running dry of gold, speak of the green robed effigy that had been set ablaze out front of the cathedral by the mobs.

In the morning rain and light after the rioting of the so-call Liberation Day, men and women clad in shades of green are seen working as a team, scaling the high walls of the Refuge of the Fifth Light, removing the boarded oaken planks from the stained glassed windows, and are seen wheel barrelling these planks and other supplies through the wet cobble streets towards the rectory.  By the end of the day, before the sun is swallowed up in the west, the cathedral of the Refuge of the Fifth Light is emaculate, even if the rumors circulating from Zeklos Keep that same day are not.

During the dark of night, under a rare and cloudless sky, the ground and structure of the cathedral of the Refuge of the Fifth Light, quaked and shook, as a deafening roar broke the errie quiet.  If the neighbors, as they slept fitfully, or soudly, behind their barred doors, heard anything in their slumber, perhaps it would have been mistaken for strange thunder, for there was not a cloud in the sky.

Come morning though, a passing stroller might overhear talk of an imjorri, and heretic, having been laid to rest, as Ezrites clean up any rat corpses and trash within the vincinity of the cathedral and nearby rectory, in their daily custum.

[A short note, written in a fluid hand, using carefully formed letters, is left in the cathedral for all to see]

At first glance, it would appear that the First and Third books of Ezra cannot possibly both be true, but both can co-exist, and be entirely true.  The only thing that needs be said, is that the Mists of Death, and the legions, are deceitful, even to the Gods.  Ezra the Goddess, in order to enter the Hollow and protect the faithful, became Ezra the Mortal.  Through Her devotion and selflessness, she became a Goddess once more at the end of Her Mortal days.

[A porcelain hand reaches for the aforementioned note - unmistakable, the new Warden Winterlass's ivory cold countenance can be seen marching off with it - brow furrowed and deep in contemplation, as she revisits the matter in study.]

As nightfalls on the 10th day of the 5th month Barovian Calendar, Acolyte Orlando Ceauêcescu arrives from the Great Cathedral in Levakrest to report to Murger Costinus to complete his training.

His arrival is quiet and unassuming.

The symbol can be seen taken away. It is rumored the Sentire himself is debating with the new arrived acolyte.

The rumours about what happening at the Keep are well known in the Church of Ezra. Nevertheless passersby by can't help notice a very beautiful fey-born shivering like a leaf in the wind at every mentioning of the Von Zeklos name and everything related to that. She is rumoured almost never to leave either the Cathedral or the Rectory since a few days.

A guard is seen knocking at the rectory's door, asking that a healer of the church presents himself at the infirmary of the citadel as soon as possible.

[It's been rumored that the young Templar known as Card has in fact been formerly introduced to the young, bashful new lay-woman Kaeyna, and has offered his assistance in the learning of Lady Ezra from time to time.]

A young dementilieuese female seems to be spending time within the church. Often times she is seen praying to Ezra. Other times she is seen reading the various books of Ezra as if she is studying them. The girl introduces her name as Clarisse Lavoie if she is ever asked her name by the other members of the church.

The Ezra Clergy of the Fifth lights seem to have come under attack once more, Roman and Mugur were struck down by a robed figure, cloaked in shadows and shimmering lights, Svari, son of the Burgomaster was missing, the church left empty baring the bodies of the clergy....later Svari returned, wounded and shocked...

Clarisse seems to be spending some time in the church praying. One may also note she is spending time preparing a sermon for the up coming fifth day that she shall be speaking at.

Following a stand-off in the church following the sermon, garda notices are placed upon the doors of the church and around the Nobles district, surrounding the Ezrite Church.

Rumors go out following the sermon held by Warden Clarisse Lavoie. The most talked about is the fact that as the Warden prayed openly to Ezra and gave her sermon mists formed around her. Yet it is stated she did not fear them, almost as if she was happy by the mist's presence for what ever reason. A man was said to accuse the Warden of Witchcraft and stormed out. the other rumor that is heard is that a dementilieuse man had the audacity to deny Ezra's existence as well as others and said he would prove it in Dementilieu.

The Feast day is upon us, for it seems that the Clergy of Ezra are busy making some last minute preparations for the Feast of the First Epiphany.

//will start in 1 hour from this post
