Just in case anyone else is getting this with the most recent update to their Geforce drivers and find themselves missing robe models simply change the resolution in game to something else and then revert it back to the old one.
this is the mvp that told the solution -

Doesn't seem to reliably work. ):

You have to do it every time you log in.
-
Yeah, that doesn't always work.

Yeah, what InMyDarkestHours mentioned. It doesn't work 100% of the time even when you do this trick every log in.

The latest Nvidia drivers seems to have fixed the issue for me. :cheer:

Didn't fix it for me :( Did you do anything in particular with your config?
-
I updated my driver but it didn't fix the problem for me either. :/
-
It may be beneficial to send error reports to Nvidia about this - they're not apt to test old games with their new drivers. Perhaps in volume they might look into it. If nothing changes, I'd consider sending GoG something, too.

Ack, the issue returned after rebooting :-(
But yeah, spamming Nvidia about it might be a good idea.
-
To me it appears to have come from elsewhere. I had not updated my drivers in a long while, and just out of nowhere the issue occured. I then updated my drivers, no change. I then went even further back driver wise than the original driver I had and the issue got "semi fixed" in that as long as I didn't tab out, the robes and cloaks didn't vanish. Might it be something to do with the new CEP update?
I'm now currently running the new drivers, and as soon as I log in I have to change my resolution ingame down, and then back to normal to fix the issue. And I have to do it every time I tab out as well.
-
I haven't updated my drivers myself, although windows did update itself, and now I am experiencing this problem, so I don't think it's the CEP. Changing resolution fixes the problem for me though, but I have noticed that Stags now has a strange grey texture sometimes.
-
Yes, I've had the same issue with some cloaks -- but only in certain lighting. Sometimes those cloaks are parsed normally, other times they're parsed in the default cloak position (which is too high and too centered on most body shapes) and in light grey. Unlike other bugs, this one can't be fixed by changing the resolution.
-
The latest driver update seems to have fixed the issue. I still get the problem occasionally, but most of the time when I log in it's gone. It's fixed the problems I've had with both cloaks and robes since the update.

Can you confirm the driver version?
-
Hmmm, weird, I had a windows update and now the problem is back. I legitimately don't understand, it was working for a while.

I've come to the conclusion that it is windows related as well. The issue only appeared after a windows update. And changing my nvidia drivers has little to no effect what so ever. No matter how far back I go.
